ความแปรปรวนของไข่พยาธิในลูกกระบือ (The Variations Of Nematodes Eggs In Buffalo Calves), มานพ ม่วงใหญ่, สุพล เลื่องยศลือชากุล
The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine
พยาธิ Neoascaris vitulorum (พยาธิไส้เดือน) และพยาธิ Storngyloides papillosus (พยาธิเส้นด้าย) นั้นมีความสำคัญต่อลูกกระบือในประเทศไทย และประเทศอื่น ๆ เป็นอย่างมาก เพื่อที่จะคึกษาระยะการติดโรคของพยาธิดังกล่าวจึง ได้ทำการตรวจอุจจาระ เพื่อดู prepatent period อายุที่ตรวจพบไข่พยาธิครั้ง สุดท้าย และจำนวนของไข่พยาธิตัวกลมในลูกกระบือ 6 ตัว โดยวิธี Modified Mc- master Method ตรวจไข่พยาธิไส้เดือนในลูกกระบือ 4 ตัว prepatent period 22 - 29 วัน (เฉลี่ย 24.25 วัน) วันสุดท้ายที่ตรวจพบไข่พยาธิ 45 - 84 วัน (เฉลี่ย 72.75 วัน) จำนวนไข่พยาธิที่พบมากที่สุด 101,950 / อุจจาระหนัก 1 กรัม สำหรับไข่พยาธิเส้นด้ายพบในลูกกระบือทุกตัวมี prepatent period 10 - 33 วันสุดท้ายที่ตรวจพบไข่พยาธิชนิดนี้อย่างเร็วที่สุด 59 วันและ patent period นานกว่า N. vitulorum มากผลโดยทั่วไปแล้วไม่แตกต่างจากผู้อื่นทำไว้มากนัก คง จะเป็นผลมาจากการเลี้ยงดูที่คล้ายคลึงกัน ซึ่งจะมีผลทางอ้อมต่อการติดโรคและชีววิทยาของพยาธิ Neoascaris vitulorum and Strongyloides papillosus are the well known important round worms of buffalo calves in Thailand and some other countries. ก้อนเนื้องอกชนิดแกรนูโลมาบริเวณท่อทางเดินปัสสาวะของสุนัขเพศเมีย เริ่มจากรูเปิดของท่อปัสสาวะไปจนถึงกระเพาะปัสสาวะ รักษาโดยการทําผ่าตัดเลาะเอาก้อนเนื้องอกและตัดเอาส่วนของท่อทางเดินปัสสาวะทั้งหมดออก พร้อมกับดึงเอาส่วน ของคอกระเพาะปัสสาวะมาเย็บติดกับเยื่อบุบริเวณปากช่องคลอดเพื่อเป็นรูเปิดของปัสสาวะ แผลผ่าตัดหายเป็นปกติ ภายใน 6 สัปดาห์ อาการแทรกซ้อนภายหลังศัลยกรรมคือสุนัขมี ปัสสาวะไหลกระปริบกระปรอยอยู่ตลอดเวลา A case of Canine Venereal granuloma in the female urethra is reported. The mass affecting the urethral submucosa and surrounding tissues, extensively spreaded from the urethral orifice to the neck of the urinary bladder. The tumour was surgically removed out of the urethra, which had severely affected and impossible to be freed from the mass. A new urethral orifice was reconstituted by suturing the neck of urinary bladder to the vaginal mucosa. Completed healing took place 6 wks after the operation. Comparative Evaluation Of Different Stains And Fixatives For Elastic Fibers Of Dogs'aorta, Linda P. Ogalesco, Pisut Mungkornkarn
The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine
Fixatives and stains for identification of elastic fibers was conducted and evaluated. Parts of thoracic and abdominal aorta were obtained from normal Thai native dogs. Tissues were fixed immediately in Bouin's, Buffered 10% Formalin, Zenker's and Susa solutions for 24 hours. Long and cross paraffin sections were cut at 6 um and stained with different methods including Hart's, Verhoeff's Hematoxylin, Taenzer Unna-Orcein, Gomori's Aldehyde Fuchsin and Combined Resorcin-Crystal Violet-Periodic Acid-Schiff's reagent. Criteria of evaluation were based on the high degree of stainability of coarse and fine elastic fibers and contrast in a short period of time. From five different techniques, …
