Does the empowerment of women improve a child’s long-term health outcome? Although the relationship seems intuitive in daily life, most studies done globally have found no association. This paper explicates the relationship between women’s empowerment and children’s malnutrition by taking Cambodia as a case study and adding new empirical evidence to the debate. Data were drawn from the Cambodia Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) 2014, with a sample of 4,118 children nationwide. This paper reports on the washback effects of Malaysia’s School-Based Assessment (SBA) on Form 4 students after almost a decade of its implementation in the country. It critically examines how SBA has affected Form 4 students’ overall perceptions about the learning of the English language at school. This study also investigates the challenges that the students are facing with SBA in their school. In this sequential explanatory study, the data were collected via three methods: questionnaires, interviews, and classroom observations. Objective: The aim of this study was to develop blue light-activated methacrylated hyaluronic acid (MeHA) hydrogel for further used as biomaterials-delivering system in the tissue engineering field. Materials and Methods: The MeHA hydrogel was synthesized with various concentrations of lithium phenyl-2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl phosphonate (LAP) added as a photoinitiator. The hydrogel was then exposed to several durations of 480 nm blue light to promote proper crosslinking. Physical properties including surface morphology under scanning electron microscopy (SEM), gelation time, swelling properties, and protein-releasing profiles were determined. Objectives: This study aims to assess the accuracy of answers generated by ChatGPT-3.5 using zero-shot and roleplay prompts in response to questions about herbal medicine from clinical pharmacists. In addition, we aim to evaluate the quality of text responses when ChatGPT-3.5 is prompted to provide references for the given answers. This study aimed for the optimized plai oil microemulsion in the presence and absence of indomethacin using a 23 full factorial design. Independent variables were weight ratios of surfactant to cosurfactant, the addition of indomethacin, and the concentration of surfactantcosurfactant mixture. Physicochemical properties of formulations were characterized. In vitro skin permeation through shed snakeskin as well as formulation stability was evaluated. The obtained formulations were transparent, homogenous yellowish microemulsions with o/w type. The average particle sizes were in the range of 44.57–92.70 nm. This research used game-based learning to increase student engagement and learning outcomes for 150 first-year nursing students in Phrapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi. Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI). To address STIs, one rural county public school district developed a series of Family Life Programs to educate pre-teens about pertinent health information. The Schooling Cancer Program (SCP) was developed in partnership with the local Cancer Research and Resource Center to raise awareness about cancer risk factors including HPV-related cancers and HPV prevention methods.

Background: Thailand implemented the FAH-SAI Clinic smoking cessation service program in 2010, which provides services through a multidisciplinary team. However, the contribution of each healthcare professional in terms of activity frequency and time spent has not been formally assessed, and the appropriate incentive compensation needs to be evaluated.

Background : This study aimed to analyze the relationship between unmet medical needs (UMN) awareness and health care utilization in Korean adults with social activity restriction (SAR).

Method : The 6~8th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) was used to analyze 41,720 people among groups aged 19 or older by applying individual weights imposed from the raw data. Weighted logistic regression and Weighted zero-inflated Poisson regression analyzed the relationship. Additional analysis was performed using Propensity Score Matching (PSM) to equalize all variables except UMN.

Background: In Thailand, there is a lack of studies investigating the assistance provided for children who are economically disadvantaged. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to develop assistance specifically designed for economically disadvantaged students (EDSs) which takes into account both psychological and social dimensions.

Methods: We utilized a design-based research (DBR) approach for a study with 33 participants. The key participants consisted of nine Thai EDSs, aged between 13 to 15 with trauma resulting from emotional abuse by parents. Favipiravir is one of the antiviral agents for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). This study described the adverse drug events (ADEs) and factors associated with aspartate transaminase (AST) or alanine transaminase (ALT) elevation in Thai COVID-19 patients who received favipiravir. A cross-sectional study was conducted at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thailand, among patients aged 18 years old or over with confirmed COVID-19, admitted between April and June 2021, and received favipiravir for COVID-19 treatment. Pseudoallergy is a hypersensitivity condition not triggered by immunoglobulin E (IgE). These conditions can cause various health problems with symptoms identical to IgE-mediated allergic. The symptoms range from mild such as hives, to severe symptoms, such as anaphylactoid. This research explores, analyzes, and proposes an approach to develop an Arabic language learning manual for the general public, applying a qualitative method by selecting purposive sampling data from 17 Arabic learning manuals from the public book market. Results showed that Arabic language learning manuals can be divided into three main types: (1) grammar manuals (2) vocabulary manuals and (3) conversation manuals. However, each type of manual has different problems. The main problem with all types is a lack of proofreading, resulting in  typing errors. Background: This hospital-based cross-sectional study aimed to examine the association between diabetes-specific quality of life (QoL), diabetes-related clinical characteristics and glycemic control among type 2 diabetes (T2DM) patients.

Methods: 335 T2DM patients receiving treatment at the diabetes clinic of a tertiary hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, were recruited into the study. The Audit of Diabetes-Dependent Quality of Life (ADDQoL19) was used to assess QoL. The ADDQoL scores were split into two groups using quartiles. The group in the lower quartile was considered as “having low QoL.” Hemoglobin A1c (A1C) was used as an index of glycemic control.

Background: This study aimed to examine what reasons motivated urban high school students to choose certain foods, and to identify factors associated with food choice motivations.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from April to May 2020 in Depok, Indonesia. A total of 433 high school students in grades 10–12 were recruited.
