Assessing sulfate concentration levels and their distributions within road alignments is crucial for the design of highway projects. Sulfate minerals in soils react with calcium-based additives, leading to sulfate-induced heaving and pavement failures. However, a reasonable assessment of the extent and levels of sulfate concentration using current practices, such as conventional laboratory-based methods, is still challenging because of the spatial heterogeneity of sulfate minerals and their seasonal fluctuations. Purpose: Identifying relationships between clinical features and quantitative characteristics of the amygdala-hippocampal and thalamic subregions in mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (mTLE) may offer insights into pathophysiology and the basis for imaging prognostic markers of treatment outcome. Our aim was to ascertain different patterns of atrophy or hypertrophy in mesial temporal sclerosis (MTS) patients and their associations with postsurgical seizure outcomes. The study investigated electronic service delivery in post covid-19 era in academic libraries in Rivers state of Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive research survey design. The population of the study was 72 comprising all the government owned academic libraries in Rivers State. Census sampling techniques was used to select all the respondents. Online Questionnaire titled “Assessment of Electronic Service Delivery in Post COVID19 Era Questionnaire (AESDPCEQ)” was used for data collection. The subfolders contain confocal image .nd2 files (Nikon NIS) showing GFP fluorescence from ovaries immunostained against Vm26Ab. Images in “homozygote” subfolders are from drd¹/drd¹ females and images in “heterozygote” subfolders are from drd¹/FM7c females. The images in the “size only” folders were taken at different camera settings and so were only used for measurements of oocyte dimensions and not VM brightness or width.

Confocal Z-series .nd2 files (Nikon NIS) showing GFP fluorescence from dissected egg chambers. These files were used to create the maximum intensity projections displayed in figure 1 (UAS-GFPnls drd-gal4 stage 10B and 14 10.27.16.nd2) and figure S3 (UAS-GFPnls drd-gal4 stage 14 7.16.21.nd2 and UAS-GFPnls control stage 14 7.16.21.nd2). Files with “UAS-GFPnls drd-gal4” were experimental samples containing both the drd-GAL4 and UAS-GFP.nls transgenes, while files with “UAS-GFPnls control” were controls lacking the drd-GAL4 transgene. The “10.27.16” and “7.16.21” file sets were imaged on different days with different settings, so image intensities should not be compared between the two file sets.

With the presence of Catalan, Spanish, and a variety of migrant languages, multilingualism in Catalonia extends across the region and is a regular practice for native-born and migrant residents alike. This study examines language use and its relationship to identity construction among first and second-generation Muslim women immigrants in Barcelona. Data was collected from 34 female informants in Barcelona, all of whom identified as first or second-generation Muslim. Data consisted of questionnaires and interviews which were designed to learn about the informants’ linguistic background as well as the extent to which they used Spanish, Catalan and their native/heritage language(s). Background

Effective control of risk factors in patients with ASCVD is important to reduce recurrent cardiovascular events. However, many ASCVD patients do not have their risk factors controlled, and this may have worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods

We retrospectively evaluated risk factor control among 24,760 ASCVD patients who had at least 1 outpatient encounter both pre-pandemic and during the first year of the pandemic. Risk factors were uncontrolled if the blood pressure (BP) ≥ 130/80 mm Hg, LDL-C ≥ 70 mg/dL, HgbA1c ≥ 7 for diabetic patients, and patients were current smokers.

In this file, I present a sequence of algorithms that handle procedural level generation for the game Fragment, a game designed for CMSI 4071 and CMSI 4071 in collaboration with students from the LMU Animation department. I use algorithms inspired by graph theory and implementing best practices to the best of my ability. The full level generation sequence is comprised of four algorithms: the terrain generation, boss room placement, player spawn point selection, and enemy population. Grafting Jig For Small-Diameter American Beech: Proof Of Concept And First Print File, Andrea L. Myers, Tara Bal

This tool may be useful for grafting other small diameter woody plant species. This jig can be used by non-experts to simplify and standardize the initial cuts necessary for side grafting small-diameter American beech. The initial file which is suitable for 3D printing is available here, whereas we have the intention of undergoing iterative revisions to refine the tool, considering different sizes and modifications. Future versions will be added through the same avenue as advancements are made.
