Acute brain infarct is a major cause of stroke and the second most common cause of fatality worldwide. The growth of 5G communications has created a demand for advanced wearable and flexible antennas due to supporting the high speeds, low latency, and capability of mechanical deformation conditions such as bending and conformability. In this paper, the design and analysis of a defected ground structure (DGS)-based ring slot antenna for N77 (3.3–4.2 GHz) and N78 (3.3–3.8 GHz) frequency bands is demonstrated. The antenna is made of an RT/Duroid 5880 substrate and has a loss tangent (tan δ) of 0.0009 and dielectric constant (εr) of 2.2. Background and Objectives: This study aimed to develop and validate a modified version of the Speech in Noise Sentence Test in Kannada, which would be appropriate for testing the speech comprehension ability of children aged 8–12 years. Subjects and Methods: A total of 120 sentences were chosen from 200 familiar sentences and split into four lists. Continuous discourse was used as a competition or distractor. Using MATLAB, the target stimulus was presented at 0-degree azimuth while the distractor’s location varied (+90° and -90° azimuth). Precise diagnosis and effective treatment planning are critical for TLE patients, necessitating advanced neuroimaging techniques. Objectives: Cardiac computed tomography (CCT) plays a key role in diagnosing congenital heart disease (CHD), emphasizing the need for specialized protocols in newborns due to CHD’s complexity. The aim is to explore the relationship between peak enhancement time (PET) and various parameters during CHD assessment with CCT. Material and Methods: The study involved 38 CHD patients undergoing CCT, with observations made on their heart rate, respiratory rate, saturation, cardiac output, weight, height, and age. Background: Globally, neonatal deaths are significantly attributed to hypothermia. This is mostly because of its co-morbidity with asphyxia, premature birth and severe neonatal infections. Crystalline silicon PV module dominates PV technology worldwide and are constantly emerging with innovative PV designs. Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell PV technology (PERC) is one such high efficiency crystalline PV design that is dominating almost 60% market share. The present study intends to fill the gap by comparing the experimental behavior of high efficiency Mono and Polycrystalline PERC PV Module under realistic conditions. Despite the excellent psychometric properties, many require considerable amount of time, are resource-intensive, and often impractical for bedside evaluation. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a dangerous illness that strikes the central nervous system. The body's immune system attacks myelin (an entity above the nerves) and impairs brain-to-body communication. This study investigates how contemporary artificial intelligence image generation systems interpret and reproduce Indian cultural elements through a comparative analysis of three major platforms: Stable Diffusion, Flux, and Midjourney. While these systems have demonstrated remarkable technical capabilities, their handling of non-Western cultural elements remains understudied. We present a novel methodological framework that combines visual social semiotics with digital anthropology to analyse AI-generated images across multiple dimensions, including representational accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and power dynamics. Our systematic analysis of images generated through increasingly sophisticated prompts reveals significant patterns in how these systems mediate cultural representation. In this article, we introduce the notion of split continuity of functions between topological spaces. Also, we give various characterizations of such functions and establish some basic properties. We observe that a function is continuous if and only if it is split continuous and has a closed graph. In his lost notebook, Ramanujan presented unique categories of remarkable infinite series, known as the Ramanujan-type Eisenstein series. The objective of this paper is to generate various differential identities related to classical η-functions and h-functions with the help of the Ramanujan-type Eisenstein series. Moreover, we present particular identities that incorporate Eisenstein series of different levels and h-functions, thereby establishing links between class one infinite series and h-functions.

Aluminum metal–matrix composites (AMMCs) were prepared by dispersing TiO2 dispersoids of different volume fractions into an AA6063 matrix via stir casting and subjected to process–structure correlation studies. Four different samples based on weight ratio were considered herein: 99Al-1TiO2, 97Al-3TiO2, 95Al-5TiO2, and the as-received AA6063. Their mechanical properties namely, microhardness, tensile strength, and tribological behavior, were determined. In addition, the microstructure of the samples was also analysed. It was observed that the addition of 5% TiO2 particles enabled the AA6063 matrix to accommodate a higher strain energy while providing the required driving force to generate dislocations and substructures. This research presents a modified back reflector to increase isolation for a small ultra-wideband (UWB) multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna. The rectangular patch and narrow line strip on the bottom side of the substrate, arranged diagonally, make up this modified back reflector. The characteristic mode analysis provides a physical comprehension of the operating events that occur during the antenna's evolution. The suggested antenna maintains an isolation level of more than 20.7 dB and has an operating bandwidth from 2.74 GHz to 14 GHz with a small dimension of 28.5 mm × 28.5 mm × 1.6 mm. Objective. In low-and middle-income countries, heart failure (HF) is the leading cause of death and disability. Materials and methods. A feasibility study was conducted to assess the fidelity, reach, and adoption of an educational program led by non-medical staff to improve outpatient care for patients hospitalized with HF in the local public health system. Results. Thirty patients were included, with a mean age of 55.3 years (63.3% male). A total of 97.3% of planned home visits and 90% of scheduled phone calls were completed. Counselling modules were delivered during 90.4% of home visits, with no significant challenges reported during implementation. …

The participation of a diverse –in terms of geography, discipline and gender– group of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in the peer review process can help alleviate the workload of senior researchers and counteract the perceptual biases that the latter tend to show.
