Self-Employment Programme For Rural Youth: The Role Of Non Governmental Organisations(Ngos), S N Sangita
IIMB Management Review
The Author offers a comparative analysis of govemment and non-government organisations in implementing rural development programme in four districts of Kamataka. He found a distinct variation in the performance of these organisations. The philosophies, strategies, and methods adopted by these organisations appeared to be mainly responsible for the effectiveness of the programme. The adoption of grass-root level planning, selection or operation in a smaller area, involvement of the people, supervision and commitment of its personnel in NGOs mainly contributed for the effective implementation of the progamme. Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication: Dissertations, Theses, and Student Research
The study was conducted to evaluate the differences in how Nebraska agricultural educators and their administrators viewed the current and future importance of selected job responsibilities of the secondary agriculture education instructor in Nebraska. A mailed survey was used to collect data for the survey. The questionnaire was mailed to a random sample of 40 instructors, principals and superintendents of high schools in Nebraska that offer agricultural education. An overall return rate of 69 percent was achieved. Respondents were asked to rate the current and future importance of 58 selected job responsibilities of the agricultural education instructor. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between industrial and municipal executives' practices and perceptions toward the administrative requirements of a water pollution control system as set forth in a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit. This was a descriptive study that utilized a two-part attitudinal survey designed to obtain the perceptions of the executives (N = 171) of all major industries and all major municipalities in the State of Tennessee who had direct responsibility for the administrative requirements of an NPDES permitted water pollution control system. Difficulties faced by cooperative acquisition programs are identified as the inability to agree on common requirements and the existence of economic or political interests of the partner nations which conflict with or impinge on the program. These are the causes of failure of many of the past cooperative projects undertaken by NATO countries for the purpose of standardization. The study investigated the European Fighter Aircraft (EFA) program in order to find if the same holds true for the EFA and the impact that those difficulties had in the program. The Octofoil is the offical publication of the Ninth Infantry Division Association, Inc., an organization formed by the officers and men of the 9th Infantry Division in order to perpetuate the memory of fallen comrades, preserve the esprit de corps of the Division, promote peace and serve as an information bureau about the 9th Infantry Division. The Association is made up of 9th Infantry veterans from WWII and Vietnam, spouses, widows and lineal descendants.

The Transformation Of Urban Form: A Study Of The Interaction Among Policy, Urban Form, And Change In A Small City, Elton Herbert Schatz

The central theme of this Case Study is that social policy is changed by its interaction with the changing non-physical (socioeconomic) and physical (infrastructure) urban form of the city within which it is formulated, implemented, and evaluated.
The primary hypothesis of this Case Study is that the policy represented by the Main Street Program changes and is changed during its implementation in the changing non-physical (socioeconomic) and physical (infrastructure) urban form of the small city of Centralia, Washington.
