The main purpose of this study is to determine the effects of the race of an examiner upon hostility indicated through drawings of a person made by culturally deprived Negro children. Spontaneous drawings by children have been long suspected of holding a key to the psychology of child development. The history of psychological research on children's drawings has been reviewed by Harris (1963). He found that as early as 1885 Ebenezer Cooke published an article on children's drawings in which he described the successive stages of development as he observed them. Do we learn to reason logically just as we learn grammar or estimating distances? Philosophers usually say we do and have taught logic as a discipline for thousands of years. They are generally not content to teach "about" logic, or in the history of it; they generally state their intent is to teach "logic for everyday thinking". In November of 1964, California voters approved by a very substantial margin the legislative measure known as Proposition 14, a hotly contested constitutional amendment which abolished all then-existing Fair Housing Legislation and prohibited local levels of government from acting in such matters in the future. This legislation was sponsored by the California Real Estate Association and essentially was a response to a recently passed Fair Housing Law known as the Rumford Act, which prohibited discrimination in the sale and rental of housing and assigned enforcement responsibilities to the State Fair Employment Practices Commission.

This study was concerned with the problem of determining the effect of twinship on the prematurely-born twin's growth and physical and emotional morbidity during early childhood. The immediate purposes of the study were to compare prematurely-born twins with prematurely-born singletons regarding their incidence and types of physical and emotional morbidity, and their growth during early childhood. It was hypothesized that prematurely-born twins have slower growth and more physical and emotional morbidity than prematurely born singletons. The descriptive survey method was used. The following study has arisen out of an interest in the recent work done on the chemistry of neural transmission. Since experimentation has indicated that certain chemicals affect some lower level learning performance of animals such as maze performance, this experiment is an attempt to find out whether the same effects hold for such a chemical on higher order learning processes, as indicated by Maier's three-table-test.
