This paper examines the cases of Board of Regents v. Roth and Perry v. Sindermann to determine their relevance to the efforts of the AAUP. This article suggests that a kind of quasi-tenure was created by the intersection of both opinions.

A Survey Of The Recommendations Of Selected Teachers For The Preparation Of Teachers For Junior High And Middle Schools., Jeanne Buress Hubert

The purpose of the study was to survey teachers currently employed in junior high or middle schools to determine their recommendations regarding the undergraduate and graduate education of teachers who wish to teach in the middle grades, and to develop a model program derived from their recommendations, as well as the recommendations of principals and authorities in the field.
