The purpose of my study was to understand the perceptions of first-generation female doctoral students (FGFDS) and what factors may impact first-generation female doctoral students’ completion of their doctoral program. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of STEM learning with the PjBL model on creativity and conceptual understanding of elementary school students. The Research design used in this study is a quasi-experimental design. The research subjects were 60 elementary school students who were divided into 2 homogeneous classes, consisting 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the experimental class. This qualitative study was conducted to explore emergent literacy and phonological awareness abilities of primary students who experienced an interruption of classroom literacy instruction due to a catastrophic event. Participants included four primary students and their parents. The students participated in home-shared reading regularly and missed the last nine weeks of classroom instruction during their pre-kindergarten or kindergarten school year due to a catastrophic event. The participants were observed during home-shared reading. Some researchers claim that symptoms, from simple aches and pains to cancer, are caused by food allergies. Debates on the overrepresentation of minority students, particularly African- Americans, are not new in special education and have characterized research in this field for over three decades. Williams syndrome is known by several names: Beuren's syndrome, Williams-Beuren syndrome, Fanconi-Schlesinger syndrome, Williams‟ elfin face syndrome, Williams-Barratt syndrome, and Williams‟ syndrome (Also known as . . . 2001). Williams syndrome (WS) affects 1 in 7500-20,000 births regardless of gender or race (Stromme, Bjornstad, and Ramstad 2002). It is typically diagnosed in infancy or in early childhood. Recently, there has been a great deal of research regarding all aspects of this perplexing syndrome. Therefore, the scope of this paper will be an overview of the history, etiology, characteristics, and interventions surrounding Williams syndrome.

هدفت هـذه الدراسـة إلـى استقصـاء أثـر التـدريس باسـتخدام استراتيجية المحطات والمراكز فـي تحسين مستوى دافعية طالبات الصف العاشر الأردنيات نحـو الاستيعاب القرائي. حيث قام الباحث باختيار المدرسة بشكل قصدي. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة التي تم اختيارها عشوائيا من 80 طالبة. إذ قسمت العينة الى مجوعتين, مجموعة ضابطة مكونة من 40 طالبة ومجموعة تجريبية مكونة من 40 طالبة. وقد طُبّقت الاستبانة على المجموعة الضابطة التي تم تطبيق الاستراتيجية عليها. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى دافعية الطالبات نحو استخدام استراتيجية المحطات والمراكزفي حصص مهارات الاستيعاب القرائي كانت إيجابية ومرتفعة. وبالاعتماد على هذه النتائج, يوصي الباحثون باستخدام هذه الاستراتجية في تدريس مهارات …

This study examined longitudinal education and career outcomes of the Meharry-Vanderbilt-Tennessee State University Cancer Partnership, the longest-running National Cancer Institute (NCI) Comprehensive Partnerships in Advancing Cancer Health Equity (CPACHE) program site in the United States. Degree completion rates were calculated and progression along the entire postsecondary “pipeline” was quantified for 204 participants recruited between 2011 and 2020. For participants who had entered the workforce, career outcomes were also analyzed. Relative to comparison data, participants completed degrees and progressed through the higher education “pipeline” to earn advanced degrees at remarkably high rates; the majority entered careers in which they support or …

This study evaluated the accessibility and effectiveness of a pilot virtual synchronous group-based E3 Parent Education (E3PE) program initiated in Whitefish, Montana, in January 2021. It is a qualitative study of a model designed initially for a virtual live group-learning setting to empower parents in building a nourishing family environment. Across the United States, Anti-LGBTQ curriculum laws are being passed in staggering numbers, impacting an estimated 25 million children. At a time where a majority of LBGTQ students report feeling unsafe at school, a significant education challenge is how to meet the needs of these students while addressing and dismantling the way the institution of science education continues to uphold systems of oppression.
