As a result, students in many private dance studios are left with limited training opportunities in tap dance, and older dancers that lost the chance to train in tap dance at a young age often become discouraged and uncomfortable with the genre. Over the past decades, crossover collaboration has become increasingly important
in the contemporary art market as an effective strategy to reach a wholly new customer segment. This research focuses on the crossover collaboration between art and entertainment by exploring the partnerships between auction houses and singers. It uses a case study as a research methodology to analyze Sotheby’s partnerships with three famous singers, including Nigo, T.O.P., and Jay Chou, by which the auction house successfully entered the Asian art market. Investors' Response On Movie Distributors' Achievements, Kanathip Bumroongchai

This research examines the impact of movie-related factors on the abnormal returns of movie distributor stocks in the United States, focusing specifically on gross opening revenues and industry awards. The study analyzes nine firms using monthly data from 1995 to 2024 and applies the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) model to test the hypotheses. The findings reveal that only awards received by competitors significantly reduce a firm’s abnormal returns, supporting both the Asymmetric Information Theory and Social Comparison Theory. In contrast, the gross opening revenues of a firm’s own movies do not lead to abnormal returns, aligning with the Efficient Market …

การศึกษาครั้งนี้ศึกษาพัฒนาการเปลี่ยนแปลงบนถนนพระรามสี่ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อชุมชน และทัศนคติระดับครัวเรือนต่อผลกระทบทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ในระยะก่อนและหลังปี 2565 โดยศึกษาชุมชนแออัดในระยะ 1 กิโลเมตรจากถนนพระรามสี่ จำนวน 2 แห่ง คือ ชุมชนพัฒนาบ่อนไก่ และชุมชนพระเจน เขตปทุมวัน กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยใช้การศึกษาแบบย้อนหลัง (Retrospective study) และการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน เก็บข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เอกสาร แบบสอบถาม จำนวน 80 ชุด และการสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้างกับตัวแทนครัวเรือน นักวิชาการ และตัวแทนเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ การศึกษาพบว่าการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน ระบบขนส่งมวลชน และโครงการพัฒนาเมือง ส่งผลให้เกิดการเข้าถึงพื้นที่ และการเพิ่มขึ้นของมูลค่าที่ดิน ซึ่งสร้างทั้งประโยชน์และแรงกดดันทางเศรษฐกิจต่อผู้อาศัยในชุมชนแออัด การเปลี่ยนแปลงและผลกระทบบางประการสามารถสังเกตเห็นได้ชัด เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลงลักษณะทางกายภาพ ในขณะที่การเปลี่ยนแปลงย้ายเข้าออกของคนดั้งเดิม หรือเศรษฐกิจชุมชนดำเนินไปอย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป ทั้งนี้สภาพแวดล้อมชุมชนที่เปลี่ยนแปลงที่เร็วกว่าภายในชุมชน รวมถึงเงื่อนไขการพัฒนาที่อยู่อาศัยได้ส่งผลให้เกิดข้อจำกัดในการขยับฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจ ส่งผลให้ครัวเรือนในชุมชนทั้งสองแห่งได้รับผลกระทบด้านความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจ อย่างไรก็ตามตัวแทนครัวเรือนทั้งสองแห่งยังมีทุนทางสังคมอยู่มาก ข้อเสนอแนะต่อการจัดการผลกระทบ พบว่า การพัฒนาเมืองควรมีกระบวนการทำความเข้าใจและออกแบบร่วมกันระหว่างผู้อาศัยในชุมชน และผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย โดยคำนึงถึงเงื่อนไขของครัวเรือนที่อาศัยในชุมชน ภาครัฐควรส่งเสริมและจัดให้มีการคุ้มครองทางสังคมที่ส่งเสริมความเข้มแข็งทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของครัวเรือนในชุมชน รวมถึงทบทวนการจัดเก็บภาษีที่ดินและสิ่งปลูกสร้างที่ส่งผลให้เกิดภาระภาษีที่อยู่อาศัยแก่ผู้เช่าอาศัยในชุมชน

This thesis intersects the theoretical fields of migrant acculturation and transnationalism. The key research question guiding this study is: How do the first and second-generation Polish migrants in Ireland make sense of the experience of acculturation and transnationalism? Despite much research on immigrants in Ireland, qualitative studies still need to be done on Ireland's 'new' communities. Psychological research is scarce on the lived experience of acculturation and transnational connections with the home country of first and secondgeneration Polish migrants. Leadership emergence is fraught with pervasive gender stereotypes, and women remain underrepresented in senior leadership roles, particularly in healthcare organisations. We apply ecological systems theory to explain how environmental factors enable or inhibit women’s leadership emergence in healthcare settings. We interviewed 17 senior female leaders in the Australian healthcare sector to explore how gender-related perceptions affected their leadership journeys. Five themes emerged that challenge existing narratives: men supported women’s advancement; women impeded other women’s progress; vulnerability was a leadership strength; ambitious women were ostracised; and women were ‘given’ leadership opportunities rather than actively pursuing them. Our democracy depends on having a supply of candidates running for elected office, but in some instances, no one wants to run. This phenomenological study asks what the effects on a healthy and vibrant democracy are if ballots are blank and the seat is filled through write-in or appointment. Rooted in democratic theory, this study explores small, rural city elections where write-ins won election. Understudied, local governments are responsible for decisions affecting the lives of millions of people each day. Mr. Nichols was born and grew up in Johnson City and graduated from Langston High School as Salutatorian of his class.
