Wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) is a specific form of electrical discharge machining that employs a small diameter wire electrode to cut a narrow kerf in the workpiece. Since the wire deflection has a negative effect on the performed cutting, this research seeks to study the resultant wire deflection during WEDM of AISI 304 stainless steel. The article presents the results of the study of the pumpkin drying process, comparisons with different drying models are carried out. A mathematical model for numerical analysis has been developed. Pumpkin drying rates are calculated and various drying models are investigated. 5 different drying models were used to verify the accuracy of experimental data and search for the most suitable model. The experimental data obtained for the drying air temperature of 45 °C, 55 °C and 65 °C were applied to various drying models.

In this work, a mathematical model of industrial wastewater treatment technology was formed. First, wastewater treatment technologies were analyzed and the technology of ion-exchange resin treatment was selected. A water purification device using ion-exchange resins was made, and tested on the Kungrad soda plant and the results were obtained. According to these results, it was determined that the cleaning coefficient of the device is up to 98-99%. In this article, a mathematical model of a wastewater treatment device using ion-exchange resins was developed using the stoichiometric matrix method. Fused deposition modeling (FDM) is one of the most popular additive manufacturing (AM) technologies for reasons including its low cost and versatility. However, like many AM technologies, the FDM process is sensitive to changes in the feedstock material. The method of simulation structural-complex continuous-discrete control systems is discussed. For simulation and calculation of dynamic processes in continuous-discrete systems topological interpolation method is proposed, based on application of hybrid methods of space of state variables and interpolation of signals. The essence of the method is that the dynamics of the investigated system, considered at the final interval, is broken down into subintervals, on each of which the processes are described by linear ordinary system differential equations. The article examines the magnetic circuits of both existing and developed differential transformer displacement sensors for large linear displacements. These circuits are characterized by a specific distribution structure of magnetic resistance parameters in long ferromagnetic cores and the magnetic capacitance between them. It is shown that in the existing sensor, the distribution of working magnetic flux along the length of the ferromagnetic cores has a nonlinear nature, resulting in a nonlinear relationship between the output signal in the form of electromotive force and the input linear displacement of the sensor.
