Efficiently controlling the water inflow (loss) of burnt rocks in the roof of coal mining faces requires grouting reinforcement materials with excellent compressive toughness. Silicate cement-based grouting materials, characterized by low costs, have been extensively applied to grouting reinforcement in coal mines. However, their hardened grout is susceptible to deformation, exhibiting poor toughness. By employing the in-situ polymerization of acrylamide (AM) for toughening, this study investigated the effects of AM, cross-linking agent, initiator, and water-cement ratio on the setting time, swelling capacity, compressive strength, and toughness index of the fly ash-based grouting materials. The mining of thick coal seams in the Huanglong Jurassic coalfield has led to the formation of high water-conducting fractured zones, which are prone to connect the extremely thick sandstone aquifers of the overlying Cretaceous Luohe Formation. Gas drainage boreholes during construction is a necessary means to control gas hazards. In response to the issues such as high drilling resistance, low drilling efficiency, and high labor intensity caused by the significant self-weight of the drilling rod in drilling into the soft coal seams, a research approach of reducing the self-weight and lowering the drilling resistance by optimizing the drilling rod structure was proposed. The 21 June 2019 Raikoke eruption (48°N, 153°E) generated one of the largest amounts of sulfur emission to the stratosphere since the 1991 Mt. Pinatubo eruption. Satellite measurements indicate a consensus best estimate of 1.5Tg for the sulfur dioxide (SO2) injected at an altitude of around 14-15km. The peak Northern Hemisphere (NH) mean 525gnm stratospheric aerosol optical depth (SAOD) increased to 0.025, a factor of 3 higher than background levels. The Volcano Response (VolRes) initiative provided a platform for the community to share information about this eruption which significantly enhanced coordination efforts in the days after the eruption. This bibliometric review addressed the lack of consolidated information on the current state of sustainable mining in the ASEAN region. The review analyzed bibliographic data associated with 539 Scopus-indexed documents on sustainable mining in ASEAN nations published through the end of 2022. Descriptive statistics identified a great disparity in the scope of research on sustainable mining practices across the ASEAN countries. Surprisingly, a significant portion of the extant research on sustainable mining in the region has been authored by scholars from outside of ASEAN. Earth’s magnetic field was in a highly unusual state when macroscopic animals of the Ediacara Fauna diversified and thrived. Any connection between these events is tantalizing but unclear. Here, we present single crystal paleointensity data from 2054 and 591 Ma pyroxenites and gabbros that define a dramatic intensity decline, from a strong Proterozoic field like that of today, to an Ediacaran value 30 times weaker. The latter is the weakest time-averaged value known to date and together with other robust paleointensity estimates indicate that Ediacaran ultra-low field strengths lasted for at least 26 million years. By carrying out the cyclic dynamic compressive experiment, the dynamic compressive properties of heat-treated and pre-stressed cement mortar subjected to cyclic impact loading were obtained. The results show that under static and cyclic impact loading, the peak stress shows a nonlinear decrease trend with the increasing dynamic impact number, and the failure strength decreases as heated temperature increases. The strain rate shows a linear increase trend as impact number increases. The relationship among the strain rate, temperature and impact number obey exponential relations, which could be expressed as ε˙ = 0.64E0.00854T+4.93 X 10−3tn+0.77N+18.70. This Study Uses Both Experimentation and Simulation to Investigate How Varying Casing Material Around Cylindrical Composition-B Charges Affects Witness Plate Response and Diagnoses the Cause of the Differences in the Dents Produced. through Experimentation, It Was Found that Consistent Dents Are Produced from Repeated Tests and Characteristically Different Dents Are Produced by Charges with Different Casing Material. Charges Cased in Viscoelastic Materials Produced Shallower Dents Than Those Without Casing. Simulation Was Validated Against the Experimental Dents, and the Detonation Wave Parameters Were Measured for 25 Differently Cased Charges: 15 Metals and 10 Polymers. Self-propelled borehole repairing drill bits provide an effective technique for repairing long boreholes that have failed. Predicting mine water inflow plays an important role in ensuring mine safety, optimizing resource allocation, and improving work efficiency. This study aims to improve the accuracy and stability of the predicted mine water inflow. Given their strong correlations with water inflow, borehole water level and microseismic energy were chosen as multifactor characteristic variables.
