The goal of this study was to explore individual and organizational factors of professional burnout (PB) among US brewery and distillery employees, as no known published research exists for the phenomenon in these industries. PB is a phenomenon characterized by exhaustion, cynicism, and reduced accomplishment, negatively impacting employee well-being and organizational performance (Edú-Valsania et al., 2022)—further, burnout's frequency and intensity across various industries and occupations (Hammond et al., 2018). The research questions of this study explore the prevalence and severity of burnout in US craft brewery and distillery employees and relationships between areas of worklife and demographics.

The pursuit of gender equality in the Caribbean and Latin America is a significant issue, as indicated by the 2022 Global Gender Disparity Report, which projects that, at its current pace, it will require 132 years to eliminate gender inequality globally. Given the historical male dominance in the transport and logistics sector, the purpose of this study was to explore Guyanese women's experiences in this male-dominated industry (Ng & Acker, 2020). When organizational choices contradict the leaders’ beliefs or behaviors, psychological discomfort can occur (Festinger, 1957). The effects of psychological discomfort have several disadvantages to organizational progress, including decreased adaptation to change, snap judgments, and ineffective decision-making. While existing research highlights the effects of psychological discomfort experienced by employees, a gap has been identified when exploring information on leader-experienced psychological discomfort (Hinojosa et al., 2016; Telci et al., 2011).

Wealth management firms have failed to produce meaningful organic growth in the years leading up to the early 2020s; treading water with average growth of 3-4% (Sharry, 2024), while client assets grew 19% during that same period (Dai et al., 2023). This was due, in large part, to wealth management firms struggling to drive client acquisition with tenured financial advisors (Crowley & Wagner, 2021). Achieving sex-based equity in organizational leadership roles has proven to be a 'wicked' problem with existing diversity initiatives providing minimal improvement. In this paper, we address this issue by considering a key inhibiter to women's leadership advancement—biased perceptions of female leaders' competence—and links to a climate for inclusion. This study aims to provide an overview of the achievement of education and training targets for non-clinical employees in the financial unit of ABC Hospital. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews with non-clinical employees of the finance unit and secondary data analysis of training records in 2023. This paper is a study on the micro-drama industry, exploring the reasons for a large number of low-quality micro-dramas. Specifically, there are two potential problems: (1) the industry value allocation model is unreasonable, so producing high-quality micro-dramas does not receive sufficient returns; (2) regulatory oversight of the industry is insufficient. To investigate this recent phenomenon and the underlying problems, we collected a dataset of 165 micro-dramas and use the newly introduced regulation on the micro-drama industry in June 2024 as a policy shock. In this context, all relevant publications in the Web of Science database were scanned between 01-06.06.2024. In the first and second searches with the words Pygmalion, Pygmalion effect, Pygmalionism, management, and organization, a total of 27 research articles were subjected to content analysis within the scope of a systematic review. Sustainability Orientation, Sustainability Implementation, And Brand Image In Service Firms, Sandeep Jagani, Vafa Saboori-Deilami

This paper uses legitimacy theory and cognitive dissonance theory to explore the relationship between sustainability orientation, sustainability implementation, and brand image in the service sector. Specifically, we examine the mediating role of implementation—the translation of strategic intent into actionable practices—on customers' perceptions. Using multilevel analyses of 31 US service firms and a survey of 6891 customers, we find that sustainability implementation is a strong positive predictor of brand image. However, sustainability orientation alone has a negative direct effect on brand image, suggesting that stated commitments without corresponding action can harm perceptions. Crucially, sustainability implementation positively mediates the relationship between orientation …
