يسعى البحث التعرف على مدى ممارسة المصارف التجارية للريادة المصرفية بأبعادها الثلاثة (الإبداعية, الاستباقية, الاخذ بالمخاطرة) متغيراً تفسيرياً، إدارة مخاطر المعرفة متغيراً تابعاً بأبعادها الثلاثة(المخاطر البشرية, المخاطر التكنولوجية, المخاطر التشغيلية). وبغية تفسير العلاقات والروابط بين الريادة المصرفية وإدارة مخاطر المعرفة, جرى صياغة مجموعة تساؤلات تعبر عن تلك الروابط في اطارها النظري على مستوى المفاهيم, والعملي على مستوى التطبيق لدى المصارف الاهلية في منطقة الفرات الأوسط. ولقد مثلت المصارف الاهلية في منطقة الفرات الأوسط والبالغ عددها(26) مصرف مجتمع البحث, بينما كانت عينة البحث في مجموع القيادات الإدارية للمصارف المذكورة, اذ بلغت الاستبانات الصالحة(357) استبانة. وقد سعى البحث لاختبار عدد من الفرضيات …

Magnet Hospitals: An Update On The Impact On Nursing Burnout, Jonathan Settle, Michael Davis, Alberto Coustasse

Nurse burnout has been associated with worsened outcomes for nurses, such as increased turnover or quitting and lower job satisfaction. The purpose of this research was to examine Magnet-designation status in U.S. hospitals, specifically shared governance and structural empowerment, and its effects on nurse burnout, nurse turnover, and job satisfaction of nurses. This study utilized a literature review complemented by two semi-structured interviews. The results showed that Magnet hospitals kept lower levels of burnout, better job satisfaction, and less turnover than non-Magnet hospitals, but this was only the case for some studies of Magnet hospitals. Purpose – The purpose of this study is to examine the organizational and environmental antecedents to the appointment of a woman to a non-CEO top management team (TMT) position.

Design/methodology/approach – This study uses a conditional fixed effects logistic regression model to analyze non-CEO TMT appointment data collected from the S&P 500 between 2008 and 2016.

Findings – Women were more likely to be appointed to non-CEO TMT positions when a firm was undergoing strategic change, had slack resources, and was in a less munificent environment.

Mid-level managers of multinational corporations often struggle to find a leadership style that helps build a high-performance organizational culture. This paper discusses the research question of what strategies some mid-level managers in a multinational corporation in Asia employ to create a high-performance organizational culture. The authors chose six mid-level managers of a multinational Fortune 500 IT corporation in Singapore to participate in this case study research blended with techniques of miniethnography. We describe how community weavers and artisans who operated various Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Karnataka, India, during the pandemic, and how they were able to sustain and grow their business despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic. We used data from two rounds of surveys conducted by Shreni Samudaya[1], along with Impactree Data Technologies Private Limited. The textile industry recorded negative growth during the pandemic, with the smaller MSMEs experiencing the biggest losses. A burgeoning literature has investigated the relationship between tourism and regional CO2 emissions. However, the results are equivocal. Some scholars find that tourism induces more emissions, while others find that tourism benefits emission mitigation.
