服務學習是香港以及全球不少中學及大學廣為採用、深具成效的一種經驗教學法。透過學生、導師、社區夥伴及教育機構的攜手合作,服務學習帶領學生走出課室去服務社區。學生得以學以致用,服務社區。社區在另一方面給予學生生動實在的教育,同時也受益於學生的服務。

現時針對服務學習的研究普遍著重對學生發展的益處,較少對社區夥伴或所服務社區的影響。其中一個原因是,現已有不少可以量度服務學習對學生學習的影響的工具,但對於有效地量度服務學習對社區的影響仍然存在不少困難,並且缺乏工具。

有見及此,我們希望此「社區影響反饋問卷」能填補這個缺口。此問卷旨於從社區夥伴的角度,去瞭解服務學習對他們以及服務受眾的影響。問卷涵蓋三個範疇並通過三方面評估服務學習對社區夥伴的影響,即:實現機構使命、增加機構資源,及獲得新知識、洞見、想法及技巧。同時亦包括量度服務受眾獲益於服務學習項目的程度、對整體社區影響、社區協作夥伴會否繼續參與及推薦服務學習等題項,藉此取得相關的關鍵績效指標。

此用戶手冊詳細介紹此「社區影響反饋問卷」可以如何使用。附錄亦載有問卷的中譯本。我們希望中譯本能協助更多社區夥伴參與評估服務學習項目對社區的影響,並將他們的經驗轉化成範例,促進服務學習的進一步發展,並為社區帶來更深遠及持續的好處。

Service-learning is an experiential pedagogy designed to benefit all stakeholders, comprising students, educational institutions, instructors, and perhaps more importantly, community partner organizations (CPOs) and the community as a whole. Through serving the community via the CPO, students consolidate their knowledge and skills while applying these in real-life situations. This book results from a cross-institutional project named “Cross-institutional Capacity Building for Service-Learning in Hong Kong Higher Education Institutions (PolyU4/T&L/16-19)”, aiming at enhancing and supporting the development of service-learning as an effective pedagogical strategy under the collaboration of Lingnan University, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, and The Education University of Hong Kong.

此書的由來,緣於「服務研習藝行大使小組」留意到嶺大校園的建築及樹木同樣具備觀賞價值,遂進行實地考察及資料搜集,設計了嶺大校園建築及樹木導賞路線,並得到嶺大服務研習處推薦,於2015-17年間為中文系「記遊書寫」課程設計及安排校園建築和樹木導賞活動,得到同學們非常正面的回應,之後更有同學參與小組,為校內同學及社區人士提供校園導賞服務。

2017年,「服務研習藝行大使小組」與嶺大服務研習處合作,在賽馬會「關愛.服務.研習@ 屯門」計劃的支持下,配合「記遊書寫」及「創意數碼影像」兩個不同學科的服務研習項目,將有關嶺大校園建築和樹木的導賞資料整理,編寫為《嶺南校園—建築遊賞》和《嶺南校園—賞樹札記》。

《嶺南校園—賞樹札記》介紹共三十二種樹木,其中二十九種在校園核心範圍內。小組將校園分成A至H八區,用實地拍攝的樹木照片作介紹,以提供準確的環境線索去追蹤樹木的位置。各個樹種的介紹內容包括︰學名、科屬、原產地、生長環境、習性、用途、形態特色及一些相關趣味知識,還有一組四句的「觀賞提要」,介紹各樹種獨特之處,「賞樹、識樹」一章則提供了辨認樹種的基本參考資料。

2018-19年度,嶺南大學中文系與浸會大學中醫藥學院,連同嶺南大學服務研習處、浸會大學創新服務學習中心,舉辦全港首次跨學院、跨學科的聯校服務研習計劃。 該計劃。聯校課程為大學教育資助委員會撥款資助之「香港跨院校服務學習師資培訓」計劃 (Project No. PolyU4/T&L/16-19) 的項目之一,結合新聞寫作及中醫食療保健課程,聯繫學生相互學習,並共同推廣服務學習。

在賽馬會「關愛.服務.研習@ 屯門」計劃下,第一年的活動已經完滿結束,此書總結活動成績,以學生的角度,整理出人物故事、機構資料,也有實用的中醫知識和食譜,展示中醫藥多元的資訊。

嶺南大學服務研習處為大學生提供不同探索和參與社區的學習平台,在賽馬會「關愛.服務.研習@ 屯門」計劃下,本處去年初成功招募八位大學生,成為「服務研習長者議題專題記者」,並接受一連串的訓練,內容包括︰認識社區高齡化議題、採訪技巧及寫作指導等,並於同年三至八月,在「仁愛堂青年夢工場」的社工帶領下,於井財街進行採訪,以區內店鋪和社區狀況作寫作主題,採訪不同的社區人士,將有關故事結集成書,以加強公眾對長者議題的關注及對社區的認識,藉此推廣關愛社區的精神。

It aims to promote the concept of inter-generational collaboration and active aging through working with different stakeholders including government departments, non-governmental organizations, academia and business partners, and to create a cross-sectoral collaborative S-L platform.

此書是在賽馬會「關愛‧ 服務‧ 研習@ 屯門」計劃下,通過嶺大學生與社區人士合作的一系列服務研習計劃,所產生的重點產物。而這個廣泛合作的計劃,由嶺南大學服務研習處營運,並由香港賽馬會提供資助。出版這本書主要有四個目的:首先,利用此書向公眾展示嶺大校園的美態,並介紹其歷史與文化價值;第二,適逢嶺大於香港復校五十週年,出版此書正好作為慶祝和標誌的一部分;第三,通過此書突顯長者與學生之間,是如何達致跨代共融;第四,以此書展示服務研習配合學術課程的良好效果,與不同學科的整合是如何實踐。

此書的由來,緣於服務研習處安排了一些社區長者擔任藝行大使,於8月25 日的嶺大迎新營帶領校園導賞團。長者運用自己的歷史知識,於導賞團集中介紹嶺大校園的建築及自然生態特色。其後,一些藝行大使為兩組嶺大學生,安排了相類似的校園導賞團,希望從中訓練學生,學習對嶺大校園的不同部分作介紹。兩組學生於大學修讀兩個不同學科的課程,當中包括有68 位修讀的「CLA 9015 記遊 書寫」及有7 位修讀的「CLA 9014 創意數碼影像」。

經過藝行大使的訓練後,「CLA 9015 記遊 書寫」的學生,於 2017 年 10 月 21 日的嶺南大學資訊日為公眾人士舉辦校園導賞遊。對於這次籌辦服務的經驗,學生都有所反思,並將相關文章收錄於此書內。而「CLA9014創意數碼影像」的學生,則學習為校園的建築及風景拍下有意義的照片,其作品亦已成為此書的插圖。兩組學生均可從教授的教學上,學習到應用相關的技術和概念。而藝行大使亦為此書提供了詳盡的內容及歷史記敘。

The Office of Service-Learning at Lingnan University works closely with academic departments and community partners in order to provide a platform for students to apply and utilize their professional knowledge in response to various social issues. 嶺南彩園項目於2014年9月22日正式啟動,項目由群芳文化研究及發展部下屬的「文化與可持續生計組」主辦,同時得到文化研究系及多個合作夥伴的支持,關注可持續發展、和平、文化、生態、生計等議題,在校園內幾處場地種植有機蔬菜植物。於2016-2017年的下學期,服務研習處與彩園合作,組織社區長者及選修服務研習課程的大學生,善用彩園的有機蔬菜植物為食材,一同設計及製作名為「彩園健康食譜」的書籍,推動社區健康飲食及健康生活。製作食譜的工作於2017年二月底至四月中順利進行,透過超過十小時的服務研習活動及交流會,學生和老友記交流健康烹飪及飲食心得、種植經驗、對彩園植物的識知及食用方法,發揮長幼共融及知識傳遞的精神。

嶺南大學服務研習處為大學生提供不同探索和參與社區的學習平台,在賽馬會「關愛.服務.研習 @ 屯門」計劃下,服務研習處於2017 年年初成功招募了十一位大學生成為「服務研習長者議題專題記者」(下稱「專題記者」)。專題記者於同年二月至四月期間接受了一系列的培訓,當中包括認識社區高齡化的議題、採訪、攝影及寫作技巧等,亦安排參觀媒體機構,了解記者的日常工作及環境;於同年三月至七月期間,專題記者到屯門藍地大街的傳統店鋪進行訪談。

藍地大街(下稱大街)位於新界屯門,是藍地的主要街道,附近有輕鐵藍地站、港鐵兆康站及嶺南大學。大街內有不少的村屋及小店鋪,包括舊式士多、百貨店及糧油雜貨店等,保留傳統市集的面貌,也算是偏離市中心的一條特色街道。在中文系講師蕭欣浩博士的指導下,專題記者撰寫專題文章,並透過文字及相片記錄店鋪的故事。服務研習處亦把文章編成此刊物,藉此加強大眾對屯門社區的認識。
