تهدف هذه الدراسة للكشف عن العلاقة بين انقطاع التيار الكهربائي ومستوى الاكتئاب النفسي لدى العاملين بهيئة التقاعد العام بمحافظات غزة، حيث بلغت عينة الدراسة (56) محموعة من العاملين بهيئة التقاعد العام، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث مقياس بيك للاكتئاب، وقام بإعداد اختبار يتعلق بانقطاع التيار الكهربائي، وللتحقق من صدق وثبات وفروض الدراسة استخدم الباحث مجموعة من الأساليب الإحصائية أهمها صدق الاتساق الداخلي، ومعامل ألفا كرونباخ، ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون، واختبار " ت" وتحليل التباين الأحادي. وقد جاءت نتائج الدراسة على النحو التالي:

In the U.S., deaf individuals who use sign language have a legislated right to communication access in the healthcare system, which is often addressed through the provision of signed language interpreters. However, little is known about deaf patients’ perception of interpreter presence, its impact on their disclosure of medical information to physicians, and whether this perception affects their assessment of physicians’ patient-centered communication behaviors (PCC). A total of 811 deaf adults responded to questions on a bilingual ASL-English online survey about their experiences with interpreters and physicians. Social and contextual factors are important influences on depression risk, but most research in this area has focused on urban settings. Micropolitan areas (midsize rural communities centered around a population core of 10,000-50,000 people) are home to the majority of rural residents and this specific social and economic context may have unique influences on depression risk. Bystander action has been proposed as a promising intervention to tackle workplace bullying, however there is a lack of in-depth qualitative research on the direct experiences of bystanders. In this paper, we developed a more comprehensive definition of bullying bystanders, and examined first person accounts from healthcare professionals who had been bystanders to workplace bullying. These perspectives highlighted factors that influence the type and the extent of support bystanders may offer to targets. The study used a descriptive approach using questionnaire on social anxiety through a sample of 205 male and female students. While traditionally envisioned as a kind of synaesthesia, contemporary accounts of the connections between this particular pair of senses have typically focused on explanations in terms of involuntarily-induced crossmodal mental imagery and crossmodal correspondences instead. Indigenous Americans living with type 2 diabetes in urban areas like Chicago face significant challenges to meeting the care recommendations of their medical providers. Based upon mixed-methods research, including both qualitative and quantitative measures, in Chicago’s Indigenous community, I have found that diabetes-care and -prevention challenges faced by individuals in this community include (1) the high financial and time costs of care, (2) lack of recognition of or response to acute symptoms of high glucose levels, (3) prioritization of other life responsibilities, (4) distrust of western medicine, and (5) fatalistic views about diabetes development and prognosis.
