Various organizations are in the process of defining common guidelines, methods, and practices for digitizing and ingesting historical as well as born-digital content. This program brings together various constituents to discuss standards for digital image quality, as well as best practices for digital preservation and archiving materials so that more organizations can become effective, long-term digital surrogates.
