Hospital library users often use library resources for doing research for scholarly and professional writing projects. Citations and format style for academic papers and publications must often conform to the “APA Style”, found in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. This publication manual is among the pantheon of standard publication manuals on library reference shelves, including the American Medical Association Manual of Style, The Chicago Manual of Style, and Turabian’s “Manual for Writers”.
