The ability of librarians who have developed during the pandemic and continue to be utilized in the post-pandemic period that adapts to circumstances is urgently needed. Librarians must strive to improve their capabilities with innovation in various services. This study aims to identify how to increase the ability of UI Librarians during a pandemic. The research approach in this study was qualitative with data collection methods namely interviews, observation, and document analysis. The library is an information source institution that can meet the needs of library materials for the community. Different groups of people have different needs for library materials. This study aims to determine the needs of user library materials at the Bung Karno National Library UPT during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of quantitative research uses descriptive research methods. The sampling technique used probability sampling with accidental sampling technique and obtained a sample of 50 respondents.
