In this project, investigators collected data on K-12 e-textbook management and related services to pre-service teachers in academic libraries. With this poster, we share our research methodology and findings with other librarians, K-12 e-textbook publishers, and other interested parties. The results of this research have provided support for planning the …

Flattening Funds: Using Alma Fund Structure & Reporting Codes, Kate Seago

The University of Kentucky had been on Voyager since 2001. We had built a complex fund structure using reporting funds to map funds accurately over to the University’s SAP system and provide break downs by subject and format. When the Libraries migrated to Alma in January 2016, it quickly became apparent that the fund structure would need substantial reworking to be functional in Alma. Starting in July 2017, a new fund structure was implemented …

Atg Special Report — Purchasing Articles By Demand-Driven Acquisition: An Alternative Serial Distribution Model For Libraries, Jonathan H. Harwell, James Bunnelle

After all, the distinction between a monograph and a serial is fluid. Books in series, book-length articles, article-length books, and special issues sold as monographs illustrate the folly of treating them as …
