This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of “Peshawar Islamicus” a research journal published by the Department of Islamiyat, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. The analysis covers authorship pattern, gender-wise distribution, number of articles, paper length, most prolific authors, number of references and department wise distribution etc. The data was collected from different issues of the journal which was analyzed by using MS Access and MS Excel 2016. Interrelationship Between Librarians' Level Of Knowledge Of Information Technologies And Their Attitudes In Applying These Technologies In Libraries, Muhammad Ramzan Dr

The paper presents librarians’ attitudes toward information technology, their level of knowledge in IT, and their relationship with each other. Secondary data was collected through review of the relevant literature. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire survey of 244 librarians of libraries in Pakistan. The study revealed that awareness of the potential of IT, recency of attaining professional qualifications, and knowledge in IT had a significant relationship with librarians’ attitudes. Purpose

This study aims to carry out a bibliometric evaluation of articles published in Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PJPS) from 2006 to 2015. Bibliometric study determines publication pattern and identifies research trends in a field.

Design/Methodology/Approach

All articles published in PJPS during ten years were analysed using MS Excel.

Results

A total of 951 authors contributed 1172 articles to PJPS from 2006 to 2015. Eighty-six percent authors contributed only one article each. M. Saeed Arayne and Najma Sultana were the leading principal authors with 18 and 10 articles respectively. Ninety-seven percent articles were written by more than one author. …

Abstract - The paper analyses composition and dynamics of social sciences research output in five South Asia countries as reflected in publications indexed in Scopus international bibliographical database and as summarised in Scimago database. The study which covers publications and citations data for the years 1996-2013 reveals that social sciences research in South Asia appears to be growing exponentially, doubling in publication size every six years. This study aims to examine the determinants of academic law library use, collection, and services among the law faculty members in Pakistan. A survey was designed and data was collected through a structured questionnaire from the target population in order to achieve objectives of the study. The purpose of this study was to measure the job satisfaction of library professionals serving in public sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Spector’s Job Satisfaction (JSS) scale was used to examine the job satisfaction of respondents’. A total of 49 responses were collected and analyzed. The result shows that although library professionals working in these institutions were slightly satisfied with their nature of work, they were dissatisfied with supervision, benefits, promotion. Revision of service structure, promotion policies, improvement in academic qualification and advance training were suggested by the researchers.

This study is about knowledge sharing behavior in dairy sector. Two-hundred middle managers (with professional qualifications) from five industrial units in Pakistan were selected for study. Fifty-seven managers participated in the study (29 percent of the sample). Research model and hypotheses were based on behavioral theories, i.e., TRA, TPB, and TAM. Data were collected through a questionnaire using Likert scale. Spearman’s and Pearson’s correlation coefficients and structural equation model among different variables tested hypotheses of the research modal.
