The survey method is applied to IIT Libraries, where the questionnaire is used as a tool for data collection. We have made a scientometric analysis of contributions from India in leading chemical science journals over 20 years period 2000 – 2019. We have compared India’s performance with that of the USA. In order to identify the existing health information sources and channels of rural women, 213 married women of child bearing age from four villages of Kangpokpi District in Manipur, India were randomly selected. A questionnaire method was adopted for the data collection and Descriptive Statistics was used for analyzing the data collected from the women. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the attitude of university students' towards Information Technology (IT) and to identify whether their attitude plays any significant role in contributing digital divide among them. The purpose of this article was to explore the pattern of publications, using bibliometric analysis, of Journal of Documentation for the period of 2005 to 2018. The results of the study shows that a total of 687 articles were published in the 14 years period from 2005 to 2018, with 71 (10.3%) articles being published the highest total in the year 2018. Gender disparity is present in many research fields including in Library and Information Science (LIS). This paper studied gender disparity among Indian LIS professionals and measure the intellectual output 20 years. The study reviewed 1,195 publications in the LIS field from 1999 to 2018, determining the gender of the first author. An analysis of the publication list determined the yearly contributions of male and female authors, together with the average distributions, yearly citation rates and other metrics, by gender. Based on cataract research data obtained from the Scopus database, it is comprehended that 3673 (3.93 % global share) researched articles from India on cataract had been published till 2017, which place India on 6th position in the world in terms of research paper output. About 62.13 % of the Indian publications appeared during the period 2008-2017. L.V.
