Various organizations are in the process of defining common guidelines, methods, and practices for digitizing and ingesting historical as well as born-digital content. This program brings together various constituents to discuss standards for digital image quality, as well as best practices for digital preservation and archiving materials so that more organizations can become effective, long-term digital surrogates.

This Google sheet is a sample of how we perform our copyright/permissions process. Please read the instructions before using the spreadsheet (see the Instructions tab) - many of the fields contain formulas that shouldn't be erased.
