An Assessment Of Waste Management Activities Of Plateau Environmental Protection And Sanitation Agency, Cjes Department Of Geography And Planning Kogi State University Anyigba

The research examined the performance of Plateau Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) as a waste management agency on the Jos Plateau. The research made use of primary data in the form of structured questionnaires to elucidate required information from respondents. Four wards Naraguta B, Jenta Adamu, Jenta Apata and Tudun Wada Kabong were used as sampling points. The research made used of both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques for data analysis. The Impact Of Transportation On The Socio-Economic Development Of Rural Areas Of Gwagwalada Area Council, Nigeria, S P. Dakyes Phd, L N. Ogbuli

The paper examines the impact of transportation on the socio-economic development of rural areas in Gwagwalada area Council of the Federal Capital Territory. The study covers about 5 villages in the Area Council. The villages were selected using a systematic sampling technique. About 200 respondents were also selected and administered a set of questionnaire using the systematic sampling technique also. Descriptive statistics were used for the analysis of the data gathered. The findings of the analysis reveal that (32.1%) of the respondents are farmers. It also shows that 57.3% roads in the study area are earth roads and seasonal. They …

The study seeks to find out the reasons for gender discrimination in health care service provision having established that gender discrimination exists in the area. The paper also examines the implications and the impact of this discrimination on the quality of life in the area. The instrument used to generate data for the study was the questionnaire two hundred questionnaire copies were administered by the researchers with the help of the research assistant.
