The purpose of this literature review is to evaluate the use of child sexual abuse (CSA) prevention programs with elementary school children. Being that child sexual abuse is a multifaceted problem, there are many aspects to examine among the larger issue at hand. Through the use of thorough research, these aspects were identified. First, recognizing risk factors of child sexual abuse aid in identifying vulnerable children. Second, parental involvement in prevention programs is essential. While threats of violence are relatively common in U.S. K-12 schools, the likelihood of a threat being carried out is very low. School leaders must take all threats of school violence seriously but must also have evidence-informed means to discern less-serious, transient threats from more serious, substantive ones. Research by Foss and Kelly, that graduate students face specific challenges in their lives due to multiple roles that they partake in as a student, professional, and family member (2017). The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore the impact of unpaid internships on school counseling students’ personal lives by asking about their financial, social, and emotional experiences. This group manual has been created for adolescents experiencing Bipolar Disorder symptoms. Among the literature regarding this population there is a lack of focus on suicidal tendencies and family functioning. High rates of suicidal ideation and attempts are an area of concern among adolescents. Family functioning has also been identified as a concern, as it is a cause of stress among adolescents with bipolar disorder. This literature review examines hoarding disorder with a close lens. This is a diagnosis that is new to licensed professionals across the helping professions. This training will allow participants to better understand what it means to be diagnosed with hoarding disorder, assessments that aid in detecting severity, best practices that are continually emerging, and the impact it can have on clients, their loved ones, and the community. This training takes a collaborative approach as an integrated way of treatment for all individuals involved in the process.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health disorder that has had some pretty significant changes over history. Affected populations, symptomatology, among other things have changed with the disorder as more has become known. Although not every individual who experiences a traumatic event will develop Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, it is imperative to be aware of the effects of trauma. Trauma affects a fairly significant (5%) amount of the general population of children and adolescents ages 13-18.
