Ouachita Baptist University will host the seventh annual Conference on Issues in Christian Counseling Friday, Feb. 24, in Walker Conference Center. Addressing “Adolescent Issues,” the conference is sponsored by Ouachita’s Pruet School of Christian Studies, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and the Arkansas Baptist State Convention.
Dr. William Viser, the event creator and a speaker for the conference, is professor of Christian ministries at Ouachita and founded the Safe Harbour Christian Counseling Center in Arkadelphia, where he has served for 21 years. This project is the narrative component of the 7th Annual CubeSat Developers' Workshop 2010 planning process. It reviews the steps and team dynamics over the seven months spent coordinating the conference for the Aerospace Department. It was the first time that students from the Communcation Studies Department were brought in to help with the event, and the gap between the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Engineering was bridged.
