This study have an aim to see the reception analysis from BTS ARMY towards the reconstruction of masculinity that BTS do. Over the past seven years of the Syrian Civil War, Syrian refugees have been painted in a negative light by news media outlets around the world. History of media coverage regarding global humanitarian crises shows that with various tools and processes, media can shape public opinion and policy in whichever direction it desires, and oftentimes policymakers and the public are quick, as well as emotional, to react. Studi berasumsi bahwa teori spiral kesunyian tidak sesuai dalam konteks negara transisidemokrasi karena lahir dalam konteks negara maju yang berasumsi bahwa warganegaranya memiliki akses media dan telah mencapai pendidikan tinggi. Hasil dari tigakasus yang dipelajari, korupsi Bibit-Chandra, meledaknya tabung gas, dan minoritasAhmadiyah, menunjukkan bahwa teori tersebut hanya nyata dalam kondisi tertentu.Beberapa kondisinya adalah pengetahuan politik, muatan moral, dan konformitas.Studi juga menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan politik dan prediksi opini dominan adalahvariabel penting dalam menjelaskan kesediaan seseorang mengekspresikan opininya.
