Every small business owner is looking for ways to improve their customer base and increase their profits with the smallest amount of investment possible. Two of the most important elements of successful small restaurants are consistent employee training and PR/marketing strategies. This paper addresses the importance of effective employee training methods and PR/marketing methods. The effectiveness of YouTube videos is addressed as it pertains to Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab in Arroyo Grande, California. There is a focus on two-way communication and communication with publics.

The Effects Of Message Framing And Denotative Specificity On Students' Opinions Of The Hpv Vaccination, Arielle Tenaya Marie Gout, Katherine Marie Kays

The purpose of our project is to use various persuasive techniques in order to determine the most effective method to persuade students about the HPV vaccination and the negative effects of the HPV virus. An important component of public health message design is determining the most effective types of messages for a particular audience. The results of this study are intended to be an aid to the creators of health messages regarding HPV and the HPV vaccination, with the ultimate goal of increasing the effectiveness of public health messages to adolescents in regards to these issues.
