Illustrated paper by Molly Bolick titled “Embodied Art: Identity, Adornment, and Style in Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby.” Analysis of the artistic process of choosing a derby name and the assemblage of dress elements and adornment in the context of the body as a canvas. This project was submitted for the 2011Folklife Archives Award competition at Western Kentucky University.

Constitution and by-laws, histories, subscriber list, news clippings, photos, and sundry printed promotional pieces used in the campaign to erect a Y.M.C.A. building in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This material was found in a tin box in the cornerstone of the building when it was razed in 1985.

The cultural and social aspects of a hookah lounge are explored, with particular focus on its importance to Saudi Arabian students at Western Kentucky University. Project was completed for a folk studies class at Western Kentucky University.
