Arnold details the process of raising tobacco from selecting the proper location for the crop to delivering the final product to market. The paper is largely based upon Arnold’s personal interview with Lewisburg, Kentucky farmer, Thomas Nelson.

Information was gathered from various informants between 1963-1969. Material is arranged alphabetically by collector, consisting of specific detials about executing hogs, processing and preserving meat, and rendering lard. Includes papers by collectors and photographs. This project was completed by students at Campbellsville College under the guidance of Lynwood Montell.
