During the months of August and October 2017, Goshawk Environmental Consulting, Inc. (Goshawk) conducted three cultural resources surveys within the Eagle Ford Play, South Eagle Ford Zone, at the request of EOG Resources, Inc. (EOG). The projects subjected to cultural resources review were the Red Stag Unit #2H, #3H, #4H, and #5H Flowlines right-of-way (ROW); Donnell Lowe Pasture #5H, #6H, and #7H Access Road ROW; and Pineapple Unit #1H #2H Access Road ROW. During the month of February 2016, Goshawk Environmental Consulting, Inc. (Goshawk) conducted one cultural resources survey within the Eagle Ford Play, South Eagle Ford Zone, at the request of EOG Resources, Inc. (EOG). The project subjected to cultural resources investigation was the Cuellar Unit #11H Flowline. The Area of Potential Effect (APE) was a 75-foot (23-meter [m]) wide right-of-way (ROW), consisting of a 50-foot (15-m) wide permanent easement and a 25-foot (8-m) wide temporary construction easement. Cultural resource investigations were conducted by SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) for the proposed replacement of two bridges located in Atascosa County for TCB INC. on behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). These two project areas consist of the Byrd Road at Lucas Creek crossing in northeastern Atascosa County and the Jim Brite Road at Atascosa River crossing in eastern Atascosa County. The Texas Historical Commission (THC) issued Texas Antiquities Permit 4401 to SWCA to conduct the cultural resource investigations, which were designed to identify and evaluate any archaeological sites eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic …

During late February and early March 1979, an archaeological and historical survey for the Jacobs, Tom Retzloff and Smith-Striddle properties in Gonzalez, Atascosa and Live Oak Counties was conducted. These properties are leased by the Continental Oil Company. The purpose of the survey was to evaluate the archaeological and historic potential of these properties before the leases are extensively modified by proposed uranium mining operations.
