Background: Measurement of RA disease activity helps guide therapeutic decision and follow up. Several disease activity scores (DAS) have been developed. DAS28 is the most frequently utilized score and the backbone for the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) response criteria.

Objective: To evaluate the possible association between ESR/CRP ratio, MPV, and PDW and rheumatoid disease activity.

Subjects and methods: Ninety individuals were included and subdivided into three age and gender matched groups: Group A: 30 RA patients who received conventional DMARDS, Group B: 30 RA patients who received biological DMARDS, Group C: 30 healthy volunteers as a controls. Each participant …
