The American Recover and Reinvestment Act directives supply the healthcare community with the improvement of technology across the nation through the Health Information Technology Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act passed in 2009 by promoting healthcare technology. In order to reach the goal of an interoperability that supports reliable communication systems, certain individual technological objectives need to be addressed in particular, Meaningful Use (MU). Meaningful Use objectives contribute to interoperability, with potential outcomes that may increase accuracy and reduce time for reporting.
