Context: Burnout is prevalent among healthcare providers. Research has identified evidence-based intervention and preventative methods for use against burnout. There is limited research surrounding perceptions of burnout among those that supervise healthcare providers. Purpose: To explore supervisors’ knowledge, attitudes, and interventions related to burnout of healthcare providers within a hospital or clinic setting. Design: Consensual qualitative research with emergent design Methods: Eight supervisors were interviewed using a semi-structured interview approach via virtual platform.
