The Study Of High Intensity Interval Training's Effect On Enjoyment, Keali Mari

This study assessed participant’s level of enjoyment in high-intensity training over moderate intensity-training. High intensity interval training is defined as short bouts of exercise performed at a near-maximal effort with rest periods or light activity in between. High intensity interval training involves repeatedly exercising at a high intensity for 30 seconds to several minutes, separated by 1-5 minutes of recovery. This type of exercise has sparked the interest of many active people due to its decreased time commitment and the benefits it elicits.
