Introduction and Objectives: Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is commonly associated with Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS). FSD manifests as abnormalities in sexual desire, arousal, orgasm, pain, distress, and satisfaction. Our primary objective was to assess the impact of micronized amniotic membrane injections (AM) on FSD and lower urinary tract symptoms using comprehensive measures, including the multi-domain Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), the Pain Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and the Interstitial Cystitis Symptom Index (ICSI) and Interstitial Cystitis Problem Index (ICPI).

Background: Varicose veins are twisted, swollen veins that typically affect the blood vessels in the lower extremities. Obesity and prolonged standing are the main causes of varicose vein disease. Inelastic bandages used in compression therapy are very successful to help venous leg ulcer healing. Stripping, which includes physically removing the vein, foam sclerotherapy, and thermal ablation with laser or radiofrequency are the most widely used methods for treating inefficient saphenous veins. Pregnancy Outcomes In Female Liver Recipients Transplanted Under The Age Of 21, Carlo B. Ramirez, Warren R. Maley, Cataldo Doria, Lisa A. Coscia, Michael J. Moritz, Vincent T. Armenti

Conclusions: Liver recipients transplanted under the age of 21 are able to maintain pregnancy with 75% resulting in a livebirth. Pregnancy, potential risks for mother and newborn, and long-term maternal survival should be discussed with the recipient and the parents of the recipient. Transplant centers are encouraged to report pregnancy outcomes in these recipients to the NTPR.
