Bronze, a copper-tin alloy, widely utilizing in manufacturing of gears, bearing, and packing technologies due to its versatile physical, mechanical, and chemical properties. The aim of the present work was to evaluate the effect of biofield treatment on physical and structural properties of bronze powder. Bronze powder was divided into two samples, one served as control and the other sample was received biofield treatment. Control and treated bronze samples were characterized using x-ray diffraction (XRD), particle size analyzer, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. XRD result showed that the unit cell volume was reduced upto 0.78% …

Evaluation Of The Impact Of Biofield Treatment On Physical And Thermal Properties Of Casein Enzyme Hydrolysate And Casein Yeas T Peptone, Mahendra Kumar Trivedi Jul 2015

Evaluation Of The Impact Of Biofield Treatment On Physical And Thermal Properties Of Casein Enzyme Hydrolysate And Casein Yeas T Peptone, Mahendra Kumar Trivedi

In the present study, the influence of biofield treatment on physical and thermal properties of Casein Enzyme Hydrolysate (CEH) and Casein Yeast Peptone (CYP) were investigated. The control and treated samples were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), particle size and surface area analysis. The FTIR results revealed that biofield treatment has caused reduction of amide group (amide-I and amide-II) stretching vibration peak that is associated with strong intermolecular hydrogen bonding in treated CEH as compared to control. However, no significant changes were observed in FTIR spectrum of treated CYP. The …

Evaluation Of Biofield Treatment Dose And Distance In A Model Of Cancer Cell Death, Mahendra Kumar Trivedi Feb 2013

Evaluation Of Biofield Treatment Dose And Distance In A Model Of Cancer Cell Death, Mahendra Kumar Trivedi

Mahendra Kumar Trivedi

Objective: This study assessed the potential influence of biofield treatment on cultured human cancer cells and whether such influence was affected by varying the duration of the treatment (dose) or the distance between the biofield practitioner and the target cells.

Design: Biofield treatment dosage was assessed from a short distance (0.25 meters) in three independent experiments involving 1, 2, or 5 treatments, along with another set of three independent and comparable mock experiments. Biofield treatment distance was assessed at 0.25, 25, and ∼ 2000 meters involving two treatments in three independent experiments along with another set of three …
