PPD affects up to 19% of women worldwide. Possible behavioral changes include poor child outcomes, altered mother-infant bond, and even abuse of the child by the mother. The purpose of this systematic review is to synthesize current research to answer the question, what nursing interventions best treat postpartum depression affecting mothers of low SES in developed countries. The methodology included 10 articles in research of interventions related to sleep, exercise, and social support. Of these interventions in the discussion, exercise is the most effective. In 2016, four out of every 1000 babies born in the US died within one month of age. This systematic research review explored nursing interventions that addressed barriers that impact neonatal mortality. The most significant barriers nurses faced in reducing and preventing NM were maternal access to healthcare and education during pregnancy, which can be influenced by maternal age, low socioeconomic status, lack of familial support, poor health literacy, and geographic location. The articles examined included nursing interventions that were evidence-based and addressed barriers relating to NM. Staffing shortages, high turnover rates, and prolonged work shifts has caused decreased sleep quality in nurses due to fatigue. The fatigued nurse causes concern for safety, coordination and agility, patient avoidance, lack of compassion, impaired cognitive function, risk for chronic diseases, and patient care errors. This systematic research review was designed to identify evidence-based practice nursing interventions currently being used to manage the effects of reduced sleep quality. Bonding is one of the first developmental tasks for infants and is imperative for successful growth. The bonding phase begins in the periods immediately following birth. Complications that inhibit bonding postpartum may delay this process. The obesity epidemic in America costs the healthcare system hundreds of billions of dollars every year and takes a toll on the physical and mental health of the patient. Analyzation of different weight loss methods allows healthcare providers to provide accurate and relevant education to patients who are suffering from obesity. A search for the paleolithic, ketogenic, and vegan diets, resulted in fifty-four scholarly studies via purposive sampling. Data was collected on the paleolithic, ketogenic, and vegan diets and all had conclusive positive effects on weight loss. Individuals studied on the paleolithic diet lost up to 2.3 kg in three …
