Challenges arise when developing a computer-based Intelligent Team Tutoring System (ITTS) that attempts to deliver feedback to teams as effectively as a human tutor. The purpose of this current work is to outline elements of feedback that should be considered when designing feedback for an ITTS. This work surveyed residents of an economically disadvantaged community on their attitudes toward weatherization and their energy use behaviors. To support urban leaders making decisions to mitigate the effects of large-scale climate change, data-driven simulation models are being developed. To ensure that these models are equitable, the needs of all citizens must be included, especially those most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. The focus of this study was on how different knife characteristics affect the consumer’s ability to slice vegetables. The aim of this study was to investigate if there is a difference in cutting between a chef knife and a santoku knife, a ceramic knife and a stainless-steel knife, and a sharp and dull knife in terms of muscle activation, body part discomfort, time, and slice performance. The Reading the Mind in the Eyes (RME) test was originally developed to help distinguish between persons with and without autism (Baron-Cohen et al., 2001). Traffic Incident Managers (TIMs) coordinate first responders and help resolve traffic-related incidents. Currently, some use over fifteen different software applications with unique functionalities across three monitors to manage incidents, leading to redundant data entry, unnecessary task switching, and delayed responses. 40 hours of TIMs’ screens were recorded during their normal work hours at the Iowa Department of Transportation (DoT). The WEAR Scale was used to collect data on the social acceptability of three wearable devices from 1,387 participants from the US Midwest and Silicon Valley. The most notable result was that a head-worn “medical device” was rated as more socially acceptable (d=0.78) than the same device described as a “brain fitness tool,” which was the opposite of what was hypothesized. This study proposes a two-stage stochastic programming model to determine an optimal set of bus stations that minimizes operational, environmental, and social costs under uncertain weather conditions and customer perceptions on sustainability. The first stage of the proposed model focuses on the derivation of a set of bus stations under uncertain demand and weather conditions. This study aims to design a green additive approach for the fabrication of controlled porosity on hydrogels. Although hydrogels have been of common use in tissue engineering, the generation of controllable porosity remains an issue due to their swelling and degradation properties. Hydrogels in this study were fabricated by physical cross-linking and the porosity was generated by casting the solution in a 3D printed mold prior to physical cross-linking.
