The article develops mathematical models of the magnetic chain of new differential type angular displacement transformer converter with a variable active area of the movable core, in which the width of the movable ferromagnetic core is a function of the angular displacement of the converter. In this case, the magnetic chain of the converter, divided into three characteristic (before the mobile ferromagnetic core, ferromagnetic core and after the ferromagnetic core) sections, is considered as a magnetic chain with distributed parameters.
