Modeling And Dynamic Correction Of The Thermal Radiation Fluxes Measuring System, Olexander Alekseevich Sytnik, Fatima Mirazizovna Sagatova Jun 2023

Modeling And Dynamic Correction Of The Thermal Radiation Fluxes Measuring System, Olexander Alekseevich Sytnik, Fatima Mirazizovna Sagatova

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

Temperature measurements are currently an integral part of modern production, in particular, energy, aviation, instrumentation, etc. Therefore, the need to improve the accuracy of measurement, control and regulation of temperature largely determines the technical and economic efficiency of production. The development of reliable methods for temperature control under various conditions and the creation of specific devices is one of the most important tasks of modern instrumentation. The article deals with the issues of solving the problems of modeling and correcting the dynamic characteristics of a system for measuring thermal radiation fluxes using the integral method of signal recovery. For computer …

Modeling, Simulation And Control Of Microrobots For The Microfactory., Zhong Yang May 2023

Modeling, Simulation And Control Of Microrobots For The Microfactory., Zhong Yang

Electronic Theses and Dissertations

Future assembly technologies will involve higher levels of automation in order to satisfy increased microscale or nanoscale precision requirements. Traditionally, assembly using a top-down robotic approach has been well-studied and applied to the microelectronics and MEMS industries, but less so in nanotechnology. With the boom of nanotechnology since the 1990s, newly designed products with new materials, coatings, and nanoparticles are gradually entering everyone’s lives, while the industry has grown into a billion-dollar volume worldwide. Traditionally, nanotechnology products are assembled using bottom-up methods, such as self-assembly, rather than top-down robotic assembly. This is due to considerations of volume handling of large …

Modeling And Adjustment Of A Fuzzy Controller In A Bioreactor Control System, Mahmudov Giyosjon Baqoyevich Apr 2023

Modeling And Adjustment Of A Fuzzy Controller In A Bioreactor Control System, Mahmudov Giyosjon Baqoyevich

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The article describes the modeling and configuration of a fuzzy controller for the control system of the bacterial oxidation of hard-to-enrich gold-bearing sulfide ores. The simulated logical fuzzy controller allows you to save the consumption of refrigerant water consumed in the process by 4,3%, using it to control the process of bacterial oxidation.

Mathematical Description And Algorithm For Solving The Model Of The Ionite Regeneration Process In The Ion Exchange Method Of Water Softening, Djalolitdin Paxritdinovich Mukhitdinov, Nilufar Abdusami Qizi Yunusova Apr 2023

Mathematical Description And Algorithm For Solving The Model Of The Ionite Regeneration Process In The Ion Exchange Method Of Water Softening, Djalolitdin Paxritdinovich Mukhitdinov, Nilufar Abdusami Qizi Yunusova

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

Based on the modern representation of the water softening process by the ion exchange method, modeling was carried out, an algorithm was developed and the ionite regeneration process was calculated in a water softening plant with a fixed ionite layer. To solve the system of equations of the model, special, but simple enough for use in engineering calculations, techniques and methods have been developed and applied. The constructed model and its solution algorithm can be used to predict the process of ionite regeneration in an ion exchange apparatus. It can also be used to calculate the time of the ionite …

Event And Time-Triggered Control Module Layers For Individual Robot Control Architectures Of Unmanned Agricultural Ground Vehicles, Tyler Troyer Oct 2017

Event And Time-Triggered Control Module Layers For Individual Robot Control Architectures Of Unmanned Agricultural Ground Vehicles, Tyler Troyer

Department of Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering: Dissertations, Theses, and Student Research

Automation in the agriculture sector has increased to an extent where the accompanying methods for unmanned field management are becoming more economically viable. This manifests in the industry’s recent presentation of conceptual cab-less machines that perform all field operations under the high-level task control of a single remote operator. A dramatic change in the overall workflow for field tasks that historically assumed the presence of a human in the immediate vicinity of the work is predicted. This shift in the entire approach to farm machinery work provides producers increased control and productivity over high-level tasks and less distraction from operating …

A Dc Distribution System For Power System Integration Of Plug-In Electric Vehicles; Modeling, Stability And Operation, Mansour Tabari Nov 2014

A Dc Distribution System For Power System Integration Of Plug-In Electric Vehicles; Modeling, Stability And Operation, Mansour Tabari

Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Repository

This thesis is mainly focused on (i) modeling of dc distribution systems for power system integration of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs), (ii) proposing a method to enhance the stability of the dc distribution systems, and (iii) proposing an energy management strategy to control the power flow in the dc distribution system. The dc distribution system is expected to be more efficient and economical than a system of ac-dc battery chargers directly interfaced with an ac grid.

In the first part, a systematic method for developing a model for a dc distribution system, based on the configuration of the system is …

Added Mass Computation For Control Of An Open-Frame Remotely-Operated Vehicle: Application Using Wamit And Matlab, You-Hong Eng, Cheng-Siong Chin, Michael Wai-Shing Lau Aug 2014

Added Mass Computation For Control Of An Open-Frame Remotely-Operated Vehicle: Application Using Wamit And Matlab, You-Hong Eng, Cheng-Siong Chin, Michael Wai-Shing Lau

Journal of Marine Science and Technology

In this paper, numerical modeling and testing of a complexshaped remotely-operated vehicle (ROV) are shown. The paper emphasizes on systematic modeling of hydrodynamic added mass using computational fluid dynamic software WAMITTM on the open frame ROV that is not commonly applied in practice. From initial design and prototype testing, a small-scale test using a free-decaying experiment is used to verify the theoretical models obtained from WAMITTM. Simulation results have shown to coincide with the experimental tests. The proposed method is able to determine the hydrodynamic added mass coefficients of the open frame ROV.

Multifrequency Averaging In Power Electronic Systems, Fei Pan Jan 2014

Multifrequency Averaging In Power Electronic Systems, Fei Pan

Theses and Dissertations--Electrical and Computer Engineering

Power electronic systems have been widely used in the electrical power processing for applications with power levels ranging from less than one watt in battery-operated portable devices to more than megawatts in the converters, inverters and rectifiers of the utility power systems. These systems typically involve the passive elements such as inductors, capacitors, and resistors, the switching electronic components such as IGBTs, MOSFETS, and diodes, and other electronic circuits. Multifrequency averaging is one of the widely used modeling and simulation techniques today for the analysis and design of power electronic systems. This technique is capable of providing the average behavior …

The Modeling, Analysis And Control Of Resilient Manufacturing Enterprises, Yao Hu Jan 2013

The Modeling, Analysis And Control Of Resilient Manufacturing Enterprises, Yao Hu

Theses and Dissertations--Electrical and Computer Engineering

The resilience of manufacturing enterprises is an important research topic, since disruptions have severe effects on the normal operation of manufacturing enterprises, especially as manufacturing supply chains become global. Although many case studies have been carried out to address resilience in organizations, a systematic method to model and analyze the resilience dynamics in manufacturing enterprises is not well developed. This study is intended to conduct research on quantitative analysis and control for resilience.

After reviewing the literature addressing resilience, a modeling framework is presented to characterize the resilience of a manufacturing enterprise responding to disruptive events, which includes inventory ow …
