Sponsored by The University of Maine Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies and VSA Arts of Maine, this workshop will demystify the art of teaching any kind of dance to people with and without disabilities. AXIS teaching artists will share philosophy, approach, and specific exercises through demonstration and dialogue. Participants will work to adapt AXIS’ concepts into their own teaching practice.
