Blended learning was introduced into the Construction Management programme in the School of Surveying and Construction Management at the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2016. The module has traditionally been delivered by face-to-face teaching but online delivery has been facilitated using the Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard) which has enabled a more blended approach to academic instruction. Examining Learning Transformation In Project-Based Learning Process, Gary Pan, Poh Sun Seow, Grace Koh

This paper presents a learning transformation framework for analyzing how learning evolves during project-based learning process. Here we adopt Lewin’s (1951) change theory as an analytical lens to examine the project-based learning curriculum at a University called UNI-X. This is a major contribution to PBL literature as little is known about the dynamics of learning during PBL process. In fact, the learning transformation framework can serve as the basis for further research in PBL process. Changing Practices Of Undergraduate Business Teaching At Bgsu, Edith Scarletto, Linda Rich, Vera J. Lux

University Libraries Faculty Publications

This report will discuss the findings and recommendations of a study of the changing teaching needs of undergraduate business faculty at Bowling Green State University (BGSU). This local project was conducted by BGSU librarians in the 2018-19 academic year as part of a national study coordinated by Ithaka S+R in conjunction with other institutional-level studies throughout the country. Ithaka S+R, a not-for-profit research and consulting organization that works with academic communities, will produce an overarching report on supporting the changing practices of undergraduate teaching in the field of business.

“Tell Us What You Think:” Results Of An Exploratory Study Of Student Feedback On An Academic Library, Anne Grant, Jessica Serrao, Maggie Mason Smith

Last September, the Dean of Libraries created the Campus Feedback Task Force to “develop a process by which Clemson Libraries [could] solicit online and in-person feedback from students, faculty and staff on campus.” In response, Task Force members prepared a marketing strategy and three methods of soliciting feedback: online via our 10 Days to Have Your Say blog and social media, and in-person through tabling across campus.
