The effects of mentorship have dominated discussions of strategic leadership development in the hospitality industry. At first glance, it may seem difficult to form a lasting and beneficial mentoring relationship due to the challenges inherent in creating a natural and organic rapport between two individuals. The purpose of the following review is to showcase the comparison between existing literature in regard to the effects of the mentor-mentee relationship in the collegiate setting.
