The occurrence of incidents resulting from chemical releases requires preparatory measures. Despite special layers of protection in chemicalindustries to avoid such releases and subsequent consequences, human errors still occur and negatively contribute to failures in different activities include maintenance practices and operating control and so on. It is proven that one of the most devastating risk in the oil and gas companies is explosion, particularly BLEVE. Thus, the study of this phenomena and analysis of its consequences at various stages is necessary. Recent studies claimed that the predictionof damaging effectafter the explosion by mathematical models is necessary for its effective …

This paper will give the information about strengthening of different parameter by using CFRP & GFRP. Strengthening of existing structures has become a major part of construction activity in our country. Many civil structures are no longer safe due to increased load specifications in the design codes. The beam column joint is the crucial zone in a reinforced concrete moment resisting frame. It is subjected to large forces during severe ground shaking and its behaviour has a significant influence on the response of the structure. The assumption of joint being rigid fails to consider the effects of high shear forces …

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

In this paper, the enhanced ( G/G )-expansion method is used to assemble the traveling wave solutions involving parameters of the Foam Drainage equation, where G  G() satisfies a second order linear differential equation. The traveling wave solutions are expressed by the hyperbolic functions and the trigonometric functions. When some arbitrary functions included in these solutions are taken as some special functions, these solutions possess profuse structures. This method is direct, concise elementary and effective and can be used for many other nonlinear evolutions equations.

In this paper, we compare the spatially adaptive iterative filtering (SAIF) approach with Weighted Encoding with Sparse Nonlocal Regularization (WESNR) to maintain the denoising strength locally for any spatial domain method. These approaches has ability of filtering local image content iteratively using the given base filter, and the type of iteration and the iteration number are automatically optimized with respect to estimated risk (i.e., mean squared error). Experimental result shows that approx. 7% enhancement in the SNR of SAIF method as compared to the WESNR method.

Power Quality Improvement By 11 Level Multilevel Inverter With Reduced Number Of Switches, P. T.Krishna Sai, Mahammad. Iliyas Aug 2015

Power Quality Improvement By 11 Level Multilevel Inverter With Reduced Number Of Switches, P. T.Krishna Sai, Mahammad. Iliyas

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

This paper deals with 11-level multilevel inverter. Almost all the drawbacks of the conventional multilevel inverters is rectified by the proposed topology. This topology uses less number of switches as compared with conventional topology, where it reduces the complexity and overall size of the system which in turn reduces the harmonics and cost of the entire system. Fewer switches will be conducting for specific time intervals so switching loss is also reduced in the proposed topology. A 11-level inverter simulation is carried with the implementation of nearest level control. The proposal is validated by extensive simulation studies.
