Introduction
Chronic low back pain is a common musculoskeletal healthcare presentation with an expense of over $100 billion annually. The clinical effect of myofascial cupping on pain and function is not clear, especially when different cupping techniques are combined. The purpose of this case series was to explore changes in pain and function following local static and distal dynamic myofascial dry cupping treatments in patients with chronic low back pain.

Objective
The aim of this study was to establish the test–retest reliability of metrics obtained from wearable inertial sensors that reflect turning performance during tasks designed to imitate various turns in daily activity.
Methods
Seventy-one adults who were healthy completed 3 turning tasks: a 1-minute walk along a 6-m walkway, a modified Illinois Agility Test (mIAT), and a complex turning course (CTC). Peak axial turning and rotational velocity (yaw angular velocity) were extracted from wearable inertial sensors on the head, trunk, and lumbar spine. The purpose of this study was to identify the need and level of satisfaction of practicing occupational therapists and students in the Arab world about the Arabic content of the occupational therapy profession, identify difficulties and making recommendations to enhance and enrich the Arabic content in occupational therapy. There is a need to identify a simple and unobtrusive method in which people can accurately track their sleep to monitor changes and track how their sleep affects their daytime function. Background: This case report describes the clinical course of a patient with right low back pain (LBP) and the use of clinical evaluation findings to initiate medical referral resulting in a diagnosis of cancer presenting as mechanical low back pain. Diagnosis: A 59-year-old male with primary complaints of progressive right-sided LBP affecting his job, sleep, and daily activities was seen by a physical therapist in an outpatient setting. Introduction: Interpretations of patient-reported outcome measures following knee arthroplasty lack context and typically do not account for costs, risks and benefits compared to an alternative treatment. The primary purpose of our paper is to estimate expectations patients have for pain and function destination outcome, six-months following surgery relative to the outcome expected if knee arthroplasty was not done. Secondary purposes were to determine if statistically significant changes in the smallest worthwhile six-month outcome occurred following an interactive discussion and to assess the construct validity of the expected six-month outcome obtained at baseline.

Blood flow restriction training utilizes a tourniquet system to occlude arterial and venous flow while one performs exercises. This training strategy allows one to exercise using loads at a lower percentage of 1RM while experiencing physiological change similar to those achieved when training at a higher percentage of 1RM.

Background and Purpose: Maintaining functional mobility in an acute care setting helps prevent physiologic deconditioning and prolonged hospital stays. However, not all patients qualify for skilled physical therapy (PT). This case report explores the application of a mobility program before and after a unique gastrointestinal (GI) surgery.
Case Description: A 52-year-old man required PT services on day one following surgery. He experienced severe pain post-operatively and required complex pain management. Falls account for >$50 billion of medical spending in 2015 (CDC). Real-time haptic feedback shows promise at reducing static standing COM sway (Meszaros, 2019). Pilot data variability suggests that some haptic-wearers ‘over-correct’ (unnecessarily reducing available degrees of freedom), when haptic correction is perceived as ‘a mistake. Does over-correction reduce multi-segment control and impair sway stability (Hsu, Scholz, et al. 2007)?

Challenging older adults to execute peak effort functional tests is not common. A peak effort test pushes patients to the point of not sustaining the task. The Wingate test is a peak effort test that measures the amount of revolutions per second a participant can perform over 30s. Older adults with knee osteoarthritis (OA) may regulate their effort during the Wingate.
