Tuberkulosis (TB) adalah salah satu penyakit menular yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Terlebih, adanya pandemi COVID-19 berimbas kepada berkurangnya progress dan penanganan TB di tahun 2021, maka dari itu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui situasi TB dan melihat hubungan spasial pada kasus TB dengan faktor-faktor risikonya di salah satu wilayah dengan jumlah kasus tertinggi di Indonesia; Pulau Jawa, di tingkat kabupaten/kota. Faktor risiko dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu faktor geografis seperti rata-rata ketinggian, suhu tahunan, dan kelembaban tahunan; serta faktor sosiodemografi yang mencakup kepadatan penduduk/densitas, jumlah fasilitas kesehatan, dan rata-rata usia diagnosis. Penelitian ini membahas pemenuhan standar pelayanan Kesehatan ibu terhadap penggunaan metode KB Pascapersalinan dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan antara pemenuhan standar pelayanan Kesehatan ibu terhadap penggunaan metode KB pascapersalinan di NTT, Sulawesi Barat, Maluku. Desain studi cross-sectional dengan analisis multivariabel regresi logistik menggunakan data sekunder SDKI 2017. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebesar 404 sampel dengan rincian NTT (151), Sulawesi Barat (115), Maluku (138) pada WUS yang pernah melahirkan anak hidup dalam periode satu tahun terakhir dan menggunakan metode KB pascapersalinan periode 42 hari setelah melahirkan. Program KB di Indonesia khususnya penggunaan MKJP menjadi upaya pemerintah dalam mengendalikan penduduk, khususnya pada kelompok berisiko. Namun, penggunaan mix-method MKJP di Indonesia relatif masih rendah, yaitu 24,6% dibandingkan negara ASEAN lainnya. Backburner refers to a desired prospective romantic/sexual partner with whom one interacts with the purpose of possibly creating a future romantic or sexual relationship. Modern technology has made it easier to develop and maintain relationships with backburners. This study analyzed the different motivations that individuals (N = 762) use towards their backburner relationships. Results from this study revealed that there were six main motivations for backburner relationships: 1) sex or possibility of sexual intimacy; 2) previous romantic feelings with this person (e.g., first love, previous romance, ex-boyfriend/girlfriend); 3) to maintain a friendship in hopes of a potential romantic relationship; 4) …

The Core Cognitive Evaluation™ (CCE) is administered/scored using an iPad, requires approximately 8 min, assesses 3- word free recall and clock drawing to command and copy, asks questions about lifestyle and health, and queries for psychological distress. DeGAUSS offers a privacy-preserving capability to annotate a list of addresses with geomarker information that is useful for social determinants and other research. The standard delivery of DeGAUSS requires command line proficiency, potentially limiting the group of users. We provide a self-service portal that enables researchers to load a file and receive a downloadable annotated output file. In our pilot phase, the system has processed 481 calls for more than 45,000 addresses at Children’s Mercy.

AIMS: Describe and compare healthcare costs and utilization for insured persons with type 1 diabetes (T1D), type 2 diabetes (T2D), and without diabetes in the United States.

METHODS: Using a nationally representative healthcare claims database, we identified matched persons with T1D, T2D, and without diabetes using a propensity score quasi-randomization technique. In each year between 2009 and 2018, we report costs (total and out-of-pocket) and utilization for all healthcare services and those specific to medications, diabetes-related supplies, visits to providers, hospitalizations, and emergency department visits.
