Context: To enhance the quality of patient care, athletic training students (ATSs) should experience a wide variety of clinical practice settings, interact with diverse patient populations, and engage with patients that have a wide variety of conditions. It is unclear in what ways, if any, ATSs have diverse opportunities during clinical experiences.
Objective: To describe the characteristics of patient encounters (PEs) ATSs engage in during clinical experiences. Design: Multi-site, panel design.
Setting: 12 professional athletic training programs (ATPs; 5 Bachelor, 7 Master's).

Cancer is the second leading cause of death, with about approximately 1.9 million Americans being diagnosed each year. Yet, it has high survival rates with the help of advancing treatments like radiation therapy. Cancer patients and survivors are contingent on experiencing a decline in physical functioning, quality of life, and physiological parameters. The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine the psychological resilience process in student-athletes during the unique adverse context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study sought to answer the following research questions guided by Fisher et al.’s (2019) heuristic framework: (1) What resilience mechanisms, (2) promoting factors, and (3) resilience outcomes were experienced by participants in their resilience demonstrations? and (4) How does the resilience process unfold over time across adverse contexts including the COVID-19 pandemic? Purpose: The purpose of this research is to study the influence of vestibulosomatic stability on the efficiency of throwing workability of belt wrestlers, when they perform techniques on the right and on the left.
Methods: The studies used pedagogical tests specially developed and approved by the Belt Wrestling Federation of Uzbekistan. Purpose: Assessment of technical and tactical training of highly qualified weightlifters of Uzbekistan and China at the XXXII Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
Methods: The criteria for evaluating the technical and tactical training of weightlifters are evaluated by indicators of their effective use of the opportunities provided at competitions. The purpose of this quantitative study was to identify factors that create stress among head coaches at the National Association Athletic Association Division II level. Data was collected through a demographic questionnaire and the Coaching Issues Survey (CIS), a tool used to measure specific factors that may create stress among coaches. The study aimed to experimentally verify the efficacy of wearing flotation aids to add buoyancy from the pelvis to the side of the thigh on the swimming performance of beginning swimmers who were capable of swimming around 25 meters at a time. The study recruited seven male university students who were members of the Physical Education Department and who lacked experience in specialized swimming instruction. Purpose: Assessment of cardiovascular response of qualified middle-distance runners to aerobic and anaerobic physical loads.
Methods: Qualified middle-distance runners at the stage of sportsmanship improvement (n = 20) were studied. Sports qualification - 2 and 1 categories. The analysis of Heart Rate Variability was carried out using the application “CardioMood” with “Polar h10” and “Polar M430”. A 5-minute electrocardiogram recording was performed. Purpose: It consists in studying the dynamics of changes in the course of pedagogical experience of the accuracy of kicks under the influence of body rotation to the left and right in 15-16 year old taekwondo athletes. Body composition of collegiate swimmers has been extensively studied; however, there are limited reports of body composition among Masters swimmers. This study compared the accuracy of air displacement plethysmography (ADP) and bioelectrical impedance (BIA) to the gold standard method of underwater weighing (UWW) in Masters level swimmers. The relationship between percent body fat (%BF) and body mass index (BMI) was also assessed. Recruitment (n = 6 females, 11 males) occurred at two Masters swim clubs.
