The Cambodia Mine/UXO Victim Information System (CMVIS) is an organisation of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) and Handicap International (HI) established to provide the continuous and systematic collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of information about mine and UXO casualties in Cambodia.

The team arrived in the local, approximately 10:40, and tried to park the vehicles in the usual parking area. The right rear of the truck set off an AT mine. The Managers turned off the track and drove up to the fence. In doing so they drove straight through the minefield followed by the victims in their vehicle. When first established by the Slovenian government in March 1998, ITF was to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in solving its landmine problem, and help surviving landmine victims with physical-social rehabilitation and reintegration. JMU's Mine Action Information Center (MAIC) held a workshop on May 13-14, 2002 to examine issues related to landmine victim data collection. The U.S. Department of State, Office of Humanitarian Demining Programs was the sponsor of the two-year long casualty database project conducted by the MAIC, of which the workshop was the culminating phase. Based on its research and the workshop activities, the MAIC has developed a list of "action items" which it recommends to improve the collection and management of landmine casualty data.
