In this study, an attempt was made to examine the relationships between community managed nature tourism and community empowerment from the local residents’ perspective, as well as to test how these relationships varied among different demographic characteristics of residents. For this study, five hypotheses were proposed based on the review of literature and tested using residents living near the protected nature camps in Odisha. A cross-sectional survey was carried out on 184 local residents selected from across the eight nature camps of Odisha. تستند الدراسة إلى تحديد وفهم مدى تأثير مؤشرات الكفاءة التشغيلية للبنك في القيمة السوقية المصرفية للبنوك المدروسة. تمثلت العينة ببنكان هما بنك الخليج التجاري ، والشرق الأوسط والتجاري في العراق ، تحلل بياناتها المالية من خلال الإجراءات الإحصائية ، فتبدأ الدراسة بفرضيات لاغية وبديلة. ابحث في القيمة السوقية لعينة البنوك ، ولكن قدم الفرضية البديلة لوجود وتأثير الكفاءة التشغيلية للبنك في القيمة السوقية لعينة البنوك. توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من الاستنتاجات أهمها أن المؤشرات مثل الكفاءة التشغيلية للبنك لم يكن لها أي تأثير في القيمة السوقية. كما أسفرت الدراسة عن سلسلة من التوصيات أهمها ضرورة تدريب العاملين في المصارف المبحوثة …

Estimating The Economic Impact Of A Natural Disaster On The Workforce Resiliency: An Analysis Of The Virginia Beach - Chesapeake - Norfolk Metropolitan Statistical Area, Robert M. Mcnab, Yin-Hsuen Chen, George Mcleod

In this paper, we explore the potential economic impacts associated with a major hurricane making landfall in Hampton Roads. We estimate the direct damages from a Florence-like Category 3 hurricane with a 3.6 feet tidal offset are estimated at $15.6 billion, equivalent to 10% of the 2022 regional GDP. If we apply existing flood insurance rates to these projected damages, we estimate that the total economic impact would exceed $12 billion with a short-term loss of more than 76,000 jobs. The job losses are concentrated in sectors that provide services to households which would bear the brunt of damages during …

Complex global challenges cut across organizational and sectoral boundaries, increasing calls for holistic responses. Seeing the whole across diverse stakeholders is challenging for participants in complex systems, yet doing so is essential for engaging effectively in systems change. A promising new method known as relational mapping, based on relational coordination theory, has been used to facilitate complex systems change. This study examines challenges faced by subsistence women entrepreneurs during COVID-19, the crisis of 2020, and their resilience in addressing the circumstances. The results of qualitative interviews with 13 subsistence marketplace women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh are presented in this article. In the current study, two themes are found to best capture the experiences and resilience of women business owners in the subsistence marketplaces. Furthermore, the study provides important insights from informant interviews, showing how women business owners navigate their operations during a pandemic. The current study aims to find out how Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Asset (ROA) affect a company’s worth in banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange between 2017 and 2020. The study uses a quantitative descriptive method. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل تأثير تكامل الاستدامة في التخطيط الاستراتيجي على جودة المعلومات المحاسبية في القطاع المصرفي، حيث تم اختيار عينة من المصارف في سوق العراق للأوراق المالية، وذلك لأنها تعد تقارير الاستدامة بشكل دوري، حيث اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وجمعت البيانات باستخدام استبانة وزعت على 110 المحاسبين والمدققين والمديرين الماليين في تلك المصارف والمحللين الماليين ، حيث تم استرجاع 93 استبانة صالحة للتحليل، بنسبة استجابة بلغت 84.5%، وقد ركزت الاستبانة على قياس تأثير تطبيق استدامة التخطيط الاستراتيجي على تحسين جودة المعلومات المحاسبية، مثل الشفافية والدقة والموثوقية، وأظهرت النتائج أن دمج مبادئ الاستدامة في التخطيط الاستراتيجي يعزز …

The research aims to analyze the relationship between monetary policy tools and the structure of domestic debt in Iraq based on the multiple regression model after testing the stability of the series under study using approved tests based on monthly data (2016-2024).
