Nonprofit organizations (NPOs) play a pivotal role in lower socioeconomic communities. Leaders of nonprofits are frequently faced with multiple, complex, and often-competing objectives. This qualitative case study was conducted to explore and understand how economic uncertainties impact an NPO and, specifically, how economic uncertainty has affected nonprofit executives’ development of strategies and decision making regarding expanding services. Data were collected through interviews and review of secondary data and the organization’s website from the executive director, president/chief executive officer, and funders. Juvenile fathers who are incarcerated is a socially pertinent topic with significant implications, yet child developmental scholars understudy it. Internet and social media misuse contributes to negative mental health outcomes among young adults. Because research suggests that cultural attitudes may influence Internet use, using Hofstede’s cultural dimension theory as the foundation, the purpose of this study was to examine the extent to which race and collectivistic/individualistic cultural attitudes predict Internet addiction and nomophobia. The sample included 250 college students (140 Caucasian, 110 African American) between the ages of 18 and 22. Participants completed the Horizontal & Vertical Individualism Collectivism II scale, the Internet Addiction Test, and the Nomophobia Questionnaire. Many traditional treatments of mental disorders including various types of psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy do not provide adequate symptom reduction for clients, and many clients diagnosed with TRD seek out nontraditional treatments such as ketamine and psychedelics for their antidepressant effects. Hesitance toward COVID-19 vaccination has greatly decreased over the course of the pandemic in the U.S. However, some populations have lower vaccination rates than the general population. This study was conducted to identify correlates of being fully vaccinated (i.e., having received all doses required to be fully vaccinated) among college students using students’ responses to the 2022 Spring American College Health Association—National College Health Assessment. Sexual objectification (i.e., reducing a person to their appearance, body, or sex appeal and functions) is a significant risk factor for negative health outcomes. In the present investigation, we examined multiple manifestations of objectification (i.e., objectification of others, objectification of self, and objectification by others) in an interpersonal context. We merged objectification theory with attachment theory, one of the most prominent theories of close relationships, and propose that sexual objectification can shed light on attachment processes (and vice versa). Background: The role of alcohol expectancies and evaluations (i.e., perceived outcomes of drinking and whether these outcomes are desirable) in alcohol-related intimate partner aggression (IPA) has been debated, with some researchers arguing that expectancies fully account for the alcohol-IPA relationship and others suggesting they play a minimal if any role in alcohol-related IPA. In four of Charles Darwin’s classic works (Darwin, 1859, 1868, 1871, 1872), the domestic dog (Canis familiaris or Canis lupus familiaris)¹ featured prominently, offering key examples to illustrate his ideas about evolution, domestication, comparative behavior and cognition, and emotional expression. Darwin held a clear fondness for dogs, and when replying to letters detailing the “sagacity” of dogs, he remarked “I can believe almost anything about them” (Darwin, 2014). Young adult women report high condom use intentions, but inconsistent condom use. Cognitive appraisals during sexual encounters are important determinants of condom use decisions, but a nuanced understanding of what cognitions emerge during women’s “hot states” (e.g., sexual arousal, alcohol intoxication) remains lacking. According to the National Institute of Health, substance use disorder in the United States in 2021 caused nearly 106,000 deaths and an annual healthcare and criminal justice expenditure of roughly $200 billion, however, only 10% of diagnoses receive proper treatment. ปัจจุบันโรคซึมเศร้ากลายเป็นที่สนใจของคนในสังคมและถูกกล่าวถึงเป็นวงกว้าง คนในสังคมมีการยอมรับเข้าใจ และให้โอกาสผู้ป่วยซึมเศร้ามากขึ้นเมื่อเทียบจากอดีต ส่งผลให้ผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าสามารถใช้ชีวิตและทำงานกับคนอื่นได้ปกติ แต่ในขณะเดียวกันก็ยังมีบางคนในสังคมที่ยังคงมีมุมมองด้านลบหรือมีเจตคติที่ไม่ดีกับผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าอยู่ ทำให้เกิดความรู้สึกกลัว ไม่ต้อนรับ ไม่ยอมรับ ไม่เป็นมิตร ไม่จ้างงาน ไม่ให้ความช่วยเหลือและไม่พูดคุยด้วย ส่งผลกระทบทางลบต่อผู้ป่วยโดยตรง ผู้วิจัยจึงออกแบบการทดลองเพื่อศึกษาการลดเจตคติรังเกียจกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าผ่านการจินตนาการถึงการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้า คนไทยที่มีงานประจำและไม่มีประวัติเป็นโรคซึมเศร้าจำนวน 141 คนเข้าร่วมการทดลองออนไลน์ โดยถูกสุ่มแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ เงื่อนไขควบคุม (n = 68) ซึ่งถูกกระตุ้นให้จินตนาการว่าได้ร่วมงานกับผู้ที่ไม่ใช่ผู้ป่วยซึมเศร้า และเงื่อนไขทดลอง (n = 73) ซึ่งถูกกระตุ้นให้จินตนาการว่าได้ร่วมงานกับผู้ป่วยซึมเศร้า จากนั้นตอบมาตรวัดผลการจัดกระทำ มาตรความวิตกกังวลในการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยซึมเศร้า มาตรวัดเจตคติรังเกียจกลุ่มผู้ป่วยซึมเศร้า ความถี่ของการปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้า คุณภาพของการปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าในชีวิตจริงและความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคซึมเศร้า ผลการศึกษาสนับสนุนและไม่สนับสนุนสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ คือพบความแตกต่างของความวิตกกังวลในการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าระหว่างเงื่อนไข ไม่พบความแตกต่างของเจตคติรังเกียจกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าระหว่างเงื่อนไข พบอิทธิพลของการจินตนาการถึงการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าในการลดความวิตกกังวลในการปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าและเจตคติรังเกียจกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้า และไม่พบว่าความวิตกกังวลในการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้ามีอิทธิพลส่งผ่านต่อเจตคติรังเกียจกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้า การวิเคราะห์เพิ่มเติมพบว่าปัจจัยทีมีอิทธิพลในการลดความวิตกกังวลในการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้า คือคุณภาพของปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าในชีวิตจริง งานวิจัยนี้จึงให้ข้อค้นพบเชิงประยุกต์ คือ สามารถนำการจินตนาการถึงการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางบวกไปประยุกต์ใช้ในบริบทต่างๆและผู้เกี่ยวข้องควรส่งเสริมการปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางบวกระหว่างผู้ที่ไม่ใช่ผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้า กับผู้ป่วยโรคซึมเศร้าที่เป็นธรรมชาติ งานวิจัยนี้ยังมีประโยชน์ทางวิชาการคือเป็นงานวิจัยแรกที่ทดลองใช้ทฤษฎีทางจิตวิทยาสังคมในการลดอคติที่คนในสังคมไทยมีตอ่ผู้ป่วยจิตเวช

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาโปรแกรมการเต้น ซี แอนด์ ซี ที่มีต่อการเสริมสร้างความสามารถทางปัญญาในการจัดการพฤติกรรม (EF) ของเด็กวัยอนุบาล กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นเด็ก ชั้นอนุบาล 2 ทั้งหมด 60 คน สุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างเข้ากลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมด้วยวิธีการจับคู่เด็ก ที่มีคะแนนความสามารถทางปัญญาในการจัดการพฤติกรรม (EF) โดยรวม จากการประเมิน หัว-เท้า-เข่า-ไหล่ ในช่วงก่อนการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมใกล้เคียงกัน เข้ากลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม ทีละคู่ โดยให้เด็กกลุ่มทดลองเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการเต้น ซี แอนด์ ซี รวมทั้งสิ้น 24 ครั้ง ในขณะที่เด็กกลุ่มควบคุมทำกิจกรรมตามปกติในชั้นเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติความแปรปรวนสองทางแบบผสม ผลการทดลองพบว่า โปรแกรมการเต้น ซี แอนด์ ซี ส่งผลต่อคะแนนความสามารถ ทางปัญญาในการจัดการพฤติกรรม (EF) โดยรวม จากการประเมิน หัว-เท้า-ไหล่-เข่า ของเด็กกลุ่มทดลอง สูงขึ้นกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรม และสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติที่ .05 แต่ไม่ส่งต่อคะแนนความสามารถทางปัญญาในการจัดการพฤติกรรม (EF) แยกองค์ประกอบ การยับยั้งพฤติกรรม ความจำเพื่อใช้งาน และการยืดหยุ่นทางความคิด จากการประเมิน Early Years Toolbox (EYT)
